For me biggest benefit of OA5 is 4k/120fps with stabilization and sound. Every footage can be slowed down to half speed and result is still smooth with 60fps.
You get more compression artifacts with the action 5 over the 4. This will be come evident with moving detailed backgrounds. This is due to the lower bit rate of the action 5

*I Have the 4 but I live in Alaska so it gets dark in the Winter time so the Action 5 camera with good low light performance would help, the Action 5*
