It’s 38 today, and I’m shovelling 2 meters of sand for a pool base for my wife. We live 50 meters from the public pool in Minyip, and she wants her own pool. 🤷🏼♂️
Well done Robbie, you’re a real trooper for getting out in that heat. But a successful trip it was indeed. If I don’t talk to you before, may I wish you and your family a happy and safe Christmas, and i hope Santa will be kind to you all! I also wish my fellow subscribers to your wonderful channel, a great time, whichever way you choose to enjoy this time of the year. 🎉
Glad to see you catch a fish Robbie. I haven't even been out this season yet. The best laid plans! Now I am well again, I am going to wait till Febuary. No good with all the summer people on the river.
Jeez last time I was this early.... was, well never😂 Was this that ripper hot Monday we had in NE vic last week? I went out the same day at about 5pm and it was still a bloody stinker! The offshoot of the Murray I went to was still a bit high and flowy so I decided to leave the baitcaster and lures in the car and just throw some cheese and worms down in a few spots along the bank I knew had a good chance of being out of the current and had a ripper of an arvo - went 3 from 3 from 3 as I said to my mate - 3 hours, 3 holes, 3 cod 🎣 👌🏻
Fantastic, well done mate. It sure was that scorcher that we had last week. Wearing long pants and gumboots offers me great protection from the snakes and mozzies... But gee whiz it was hot. LOL
Nice Video Robbie 👍 Nice Murray Cod 👍 Ive got to put Golden Perch fingerlings out in 2 dams Tomorrow and its forecasted to be between 30 - 37 degrees so i will be waring My boots and keeping my eye out for Snakes.
Thanks mate. When it's that hot, most snakes will be out in the morning when it is cooler. 18 - 25 degrees is ideal. When it gets hotter they are more likely to be found closer to the water.
@robbiefishing yeah I've seen snakes before near the water on one of the dams when I've gone to start the pump to get fish out of the dam. My place is Snake Central because iam always seeing snakes but I've always got my eye out for snakes and I know what to do if I see a Snake.
Hi mate, I have answered this question for you twice this week already. Check out my replies to your previous comments, or check out my Lake. Buffalo video from 2 nights ago for some great lure ideas.
Hi Robbie, me and my mate are doing a big day trip tomorrow to Wangaratta, looking to go for a quick cod fish and won’t have a second to lose. Should we go north or south of Wang on the Ovens?
Haha not a second to lose. LOL Generally there are more cod upstream of Wang but bigger cod downstream. It's still higher and faster than usual for this time of the year.
Hey Robbie love the video n keep a eye out for snakes as here where I live the other day a little boy got bite by a snake n they had to fly him to syd hospital so keep an eye out ✌🏽
Nice hot day Robbie. A bit too hot to go extra fishing haha. One thing I noticed since you’ve lost weight your breathing is not as laboured. I know it’s probably not the nicest thing to say but I’m glad to see you healthier. Can’t imagine my TH-cam streaming without Robbie fishing
Another great video mate, bloody jealous though, you fish every day and you even catch them most days. Even more jealous of you Mexicans catching cod & yellas all the time. Down her in SA, there are only leftover carp! Have a great xmas to you & Donna 🎉
Thanks so much mate. You poor S.A. fisho's are so neglected when it comes to fishing. I really do hope that things change for you. I hope that you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too mate.

Haha she probably wants the privacy. LOL Don't overheat yourself mate.
It's so good to see Cod numbers building up.
Well done mate. Good on ya for getting out there

Woohoo a proper cod on a proper cod lure
Haha thanks Sam. Did you see how high and dirty the water still is? That's why it's taken me a while. It was 2 meters higher a couple of weeks back.

Hey Robbie any tips for strike tiger lures for lake Eildon?
Hi mate, I have answered this question for you twice this week already. Check out my replies to your previous comments, or check out my Lake. Buffalo video from 2 nights ago for some great lure ideas.
Stay safe out there Robbie, my exit plan for snake bite is epirb, UHF radio and snake bit kit I take on every trip.
Thanks mate, that is an excellent plan.
@@robbiefishing And the boots are included too. I use Bogs and Muckmasters.

Nice one Robbie, was this a recent trip out? Good to see you on the board for the season on lure.
Thanks Mick, yep it was earlier this week when it was 40 degrees.
Nice Cod
38 degrees time to be inside
Thanks Pete. Haha I agree but conditions were good. LOL 😂
That little guy was starving for a lure!
Oh, nothing worse than mossies and hot weather, the repellent just rolls off as quick as you can sweat it out
You're not wrong mate. I swear I used half a can of aeroguard on this evening. LOL
I reckon I congratulated you on that cast at the exact time you congratulated yourself then bam 💥 nice one 👍
Hahahaha that reads so funny. LOL 😅😅😅 Thanks mate. 👍👍
Congrats on the weight loss Robbie, clothes getting too big is a good form of frustration

Yep, it was hot. Our forecast was for 43, thankfully it didn't quite get there. 43c isn't uncommon in this area. I don't like it. LOL
38 here and freezing my ass off in Texas. This guy bitching about heat and mosquitoes. Guess they are just tougher in Australia
Beautiful but a little hot Robbie
Thanks Catherine, you're not wrong. It was terribly hot.
i watch all your videos so i am wondering if you could shout me out
Hi mate, thanks so much for your great support. I'm really sorry but I just don't do random shout outs for a number of reasons sorry. 🙏
Hey Robbie love the video n keep a eye out for snakes as here where I live the other day a little boy got bite by a snake n they had to fly him to syd hospital so keep an eye out ✌🏽
