I love this song, Summertime - along with just about everything else Gershwin wrote. He died way too young! My mother, who had studied voice at the Cincinnati Conservatory with Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff, used to sing it while doing house work.
Such a great song. It lends itself to so many interpretations, blues-jazz-rock-rap, from banjo to sax, to me in the shower. This is a beautiful rendition. :>)
