When you get a mortgage on a property, this mortgage must be registered at the Dubai Land Department. The fee for registering your mortgage at DLD is 0.25% of the mortgage amount. It has nothing to do with your purchase price, duration of mortgage, LTV (Loan to Value), or interest rate.
