    Woah I never noticed, they removed the little compartment on top of the dash from the 2018 but they left the spot where it latches in to. Pretty lazy.

    The 2.0L ecoboost engine has a twin scroll turbo and the cylinder head design for the turbo. This is why you have little turbo lag, no exhaust gases pushed back into the cylinder on non companion cylinders.

    If you think it compares to the ST... You just don't get it. No Twin Turbo V6, no custom tuned sport suspension, no larger brakes, no sport seats. Different vehicle for a different audience.

      The front camera's included in the 301A package as well as the Titanium Elite package. Unfortunately, it doesn't come standard with the "base" Titanium.

    The area around the infotainment screen is hideous. Looks like a tube tv from the 90s. That thick black plastic around it is just a horrible design for 2020!

      It is recycled from the 2015 model. I agree there really is no excuse for it.

    • @johnnyb5126
      @johnnyb5126 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@austinreiser519 it has a low speed surge and bucking thing going on. Only does it when driving between 10 and 20 mph.
      As of now, Ford has not come up with a TSB that fixes it.

      Edge's are very reliable. Not to mention the 2.7L in higher end models are the same ones used in F150's just tuned differently. I'm sure you've seen some F150's with 300k+ miles. Like anything, if your vehicle is maintained well, you shouldn't have an issue with reliability.

    • @Ford-Explorer606
      @Ford-Explorer606 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@anthonyb97 yes I have seen a lot of F150 with more than 300k +miles. I wanted to just know how reliable the edge is since u replied that the edge is also reliable I am planning to buy one. But I want to even know whether it's has much better reliability compared to the explorer

      @@Ford-Explorer606 My 2011 edge was running strong until a bad accident totaled it. Had 112k miles on Odometer. Only thing I had replaced was a power steering hose that I brought to the dealer for warranty and they said it was normal. After it was out of warranty then had to pay for it. My fault for believing them, I knew it wasnt normal. Anyways, I had the check engine light come on once for a purge valve canister, very cheap repair about 70$ common to go bad, probably went bad at 90k. Since my last edge was totaled.... I just bought a 2019 edge ST. Only thing people are saying is watch the oil pan for leaks, and an update for transmission slamming into gear when rotary knob is spun. I experienced the transmission engaging and disengaging but theres a software update out and now that resolved that issue. Overall excellent vehicle. I just wish the USA market updated interiors as it's been the same since 2016.

      Simon Johnson If you can't back your car up safely using your mirrors, then you don't need to be driving. My car only has a back up camera and parking sensors and I'm contempt with that. But I do see your point though

      Simon Johnson Well I don't mean it hatefully, but that's all my mom talked about when she bought a new car. My moms first car was a Pontiac Catalina, so you should be picking up what I'm saying lmao. She shouldn't need the granny assists. But yeah, I think some people just gripe about things that aren't that important, but if it helps your any, the car parks it's self and not many cars from this level do that.
