Thank you for such useful tips! Im just getting started coming from knowing nothing about salesforce and working towards becoming an administrator some day. Which blogs you did you find most helpful on your journey?
This was really helpful...any advice on where to find videos on making changes to Fields? seems like you cant change them once they have been created and used in past opportunities. Continued Success!
Thank you Emily. I was looking for a straightforward intro to Salesforce, sans dudes. (I've had my fill of dudes) It's unfortunate that Salesforce is a complication, rather than a simplifier. I'm a pure salesperson, and native CRM user going back to Act! and Maximizer. I have no desire beyond making money*, and being a user. Love your approach. * Lots of money.
Thanks! The more I work in salesforce it seems that it's mostly marketed to executives who aren't using it. So it is complicated and really hard to understand (unnecessarily). Happy to help it make more sense!
Hi Emily, great video. I'm learning how to use Salesforce. Any recommendations? I would like to work as a business analyst. Thank you in advance! And greetings from Costa Rica 🇨🇷.
Well trailhead is a way to learn Salesforce and can be helpful, it has a lot of fluff that you can get lost in. I would recommend going with courses that help you with a straightforward learning path
im trying to figure that out as well, from job postings i have looked at they just want experience with it not really asking for certifications and such
Do you have salesforce developer videos? Tbh, the amount of courses, youtube videos to help out salesforce devs in Cloud commerce and SFRA seems scare...
Hey Zach! Unfortunately I don't have any developer focused videos. I would LOVE to make them in the future just not sure where that's going to be on my timeline. It's definitely a resource that's needed. However a few of my friends on youtube do make developer content. Not sure what you're looking for exactly. Warren Walters at Salesforce Mentor does some dev videos: th-cam.com/users/Walters954about Matt Gerry at Coding with the Force more heavily dev focused: www.youtube.com/@CodingWithTheForce Matt is on hiatus while he studies for the CTA cert.
Thank you! I am wanting to get more familiar with Salesforce because my work is starting to use it more.
Thanks for posting the video.
This was helpful Emily, THANK YOU
So glad it was helpful

Thank you Emily. I have a question, can you or anyone recommend a community page where we can ask salesforce related questions?
Thanks!

I wish she answered questions, what’s the point of a comment section if you don’t acknowledge it?

Thank you for your video. Would it be helpful to learn any other program languages like SQL or Javascript?
@Jonny Thanks
Do you not recommend getting a salesforce admin certification thru Trailhead?

I just enrolled in a Salesforce admin 9 months course, it takes 30h a week while working full time accountant, i hope it worth it 😅
Good luck!
Love from India
is a certification in salesforce required or is it something you just learn
im trying to figure that out as well, from job postings i have looked at they just want experience with it not really asking for certifications and such
@@MightyGandolf sales force certification helps you get the interview. The experience gets the job.

This is really nice
Thank you!
You're welcome!
You skipped one of the greatest resources for learning Salesforce and that is Focus on Force.
Didn’t forget it! Personally I don’t use focus on force just for learning salesforce. I use it to prep for certs. Maybe an unpopular opinion 😬
the saliva sounds make it impossible to watch :(
Great tips!!!
Glad you like them!
Thank you!!
