The scout is a really good second round weapon.
- Its cheap
- Accurate even without scoping,
- Easier to hit shots since movement is slow
- Bodyshots still do significant damage
- Sometimes ppl dont buy shield on second round
I will buy a scout 2nd round every time unless my team wants to save. It is 1 of the best guns in the game for its versatility ( in the right hands...)

It’s normally seen as the better second round or eco buy on Breeze because of how open and long some engagements are. Specter excels at that medium-close to close range.
to add, most people won't buy shields 2nd rd if they lost pistol so it's basically a better op cuz of the hipfire accuracy. if u win 2nd rd you also have the option to buy phandals onto 3rd rd

1:07 something interesting I just tested out: her throwables don't have a max distance - rather, they have a max flight time (how long they stay in the air before blamo-ing into the ground). Run-throwing it gives about 10 extra meters, yet they always stay in the air (unless blamo'ed earlier) for 1.5 (or so) seconds. Just an interesting thing I'd thought I'd share :)

The most you can get out of placements is Diamond 1, btw. And also, the best 2nd round weapon is probably bulldog because it has frag potential coming into bonus as well, if you hit your bursts you can outshoot a vandal/phantom.

@@incarnatemus after winning pistol, you save your money for 3rd round? That's exactly what you're doing wrong, you're supposed to convert the antieco(post-pistol round) and go into 3rd with as many guns saved from past as possible and play what is called a bonus round
"Is there a better second round gun than the spectre?" In imm2 me and my buddies all use stinger. it takes a bit of practice to get used to the idea that you only have enough bullets to kill 1 or 2 if you are lucky, but its significantly better than spectre. If you look at the damage numbers it only loses like 6% damage at long range so you can actually do really high damage with one good 3 shot burst.
The main trick for med-long range is to shoot about 2-4 bullets and mid spray press right click to switch to burst mode, then finish the fight with bursts. This is because your movement speed is too slow when right clicked, so you want to swing with speed then swap to burst. My friend SmuggaD is able to go even with me for kills in 1v1 dm with a stinger when I am using vandal, its insane how strong the stinger can be when well practiced.
I just picked it up recently as I had enough of the spectre. I did not test it after the nerfs but the left click spray is almost always good for 1 sometimes 2-3. It is a very strong eco buy.
It's crazy how many people refuse to acknowledge the damage potential, and just use the most expensive weapon.

I picked up the stinger recently after seeing theScore esports video on skully and watching+analyzing some of skully's twitter clips who is known for his usage of the stinger in radiant elo. I used to buy bulldog, guardian, and the spectre as a 2nd round buy, but I felt like all three of those miss something. I like using the stinger as a 2nd round buy, win or lose, as it have high potential to net a kill thanks to its high rate of fire and being able to pull some insane long range kills(if you can control its random burst). It's also highly economically efficient as it only cost 950 credits(as of May 6th 2022) and you're usually able to buy all your utility after winning pistol. The weapon be can decent on an eco round too because of its rate of fire and the burst being able to kill opponents far away.
The stinger is definitely not as bad as people paint it out to be. With all that being said, there are some caveats about this weapon: recoil is pretty bad, recoil reset is bad, damage can be better against heavy armor opponents, and you have to reload after almost every kill.

Jett's changes is actually more of a rework instead of a nerf. It made her playstyle be more aggressive instead of just holding angles for years and just hit escape. The rework also makes you get her dash more often if you think about it.
How is that true? It's a straight nerf. It used to be "you can dash whenever" now it's "you have to commit to a specific time window you can dash in". As for getting it more often.... no? It's still two kills to refresh it.
@@Bomber679 You press the "I'm gonna dash in the next twelve seconds" button. You get a kill. You dash. You're now one kill away from your next dash.
Before, it'd be that you get a kill and dash out, then you'd need two kills to get to your next dash.
@@Bomber679 its a nerf to those jett who just hold angles with an op for days and just dash away when they hit their shot or miss, this new "nerf" doesn't allow these kind of plays and actually supports aggressive jett plays, y'know like how jett was supposed to be played as an agent, imo this change was kinda like a buff for actual good jett players and nerf for those idiot jett instalockers who use their dash as an get out of jail free card

9:20 I despise the spectre as well, and adore the marshal and with your crisp aim it should suit you quite well. Especially when playing chamber.
The head hitboxes feel GIGANTIC when using the marshal for some reason

I like the Bulldog for 2nd round, and don't be afraid of aiming down sights. But don't forget it's burst when aiming.

I don't know your schedule, but you might simply split those sessions up into two days. Beyond that it is amazing how you make those videos entertaining despite all these restrictions of the game.
Riot seems to do this thing where they grief you until you quit once they've decided you're playing too much and not spending enough on skins. Honestly their fault for making a f2p with a slightly successful anti-cheat.
Being a content creator is hard, man! I still appreciate seeing you do some Valorant content. Hopefully the next video is more fun for you to make!

I really like val compared to CS because of how many different play styles are available with different agents. You can play the same game for a long time if you switch around different agents.

The marshal is really good for second round. It's only 950 credits and is better than the csgo scout which is 1700. It can also 1 shot the body if the enemies do not buy shields, which they often do not on second round. It's pretty much like a better op on second round.

I don’t actually think valorant is inherently bad for content creators, rather it’s bad for long-form content. Considering that short-form content platforms like tik tok are incredibly popular, and valorant does its best to be trendy, I think it suits the games vision better to focus more on that. (Unfortunately for myself and fellow warowl connoisseurs, this doesn’t line up with our vision for what we want games to be).
Just to hammer home this point- agents are relatively simple with few mechanics, with easily reproducible quirks. This lends itself well to a short video explaining it without much depth. It’s very hard to display a valorant experience that isn’t very quickly reproducible in game. It feeds the ecosystem very well, but at the expense of much of the game’s potential.
Great video Warowl, but I've commented it many times before and I will comment it again: your videos are always the best (without exception) when you are having fun in them. Your narration, editing and friends make any video a joy to watch, but to me any Warowl classic has you enjoying yourself for the whole thing we can feel it through the screen. Keep playing Valorant, but don't push yourself to uncomfortable places to reach an arbitrary number. We will watch your video anyway

You can use the marshal for round 2, sometimes they full save and you can just one tap to the body. Imo it's better because then you can buy heavy armor and a secondary. Or you could buy light shields and a bulldog.

the trails are for the DOGS.
the dogs follow the trails. which is why in the VERY FIRST CLIP the dog didnt see raze. she wasnt marked with a trail.

9:30 for breeze, buy Ares, and use it with ADS + crouching spraying from as far away as possible (that's its most effective usage case scenario) though now with the recent buffs it's also pretty usable close range too. Alternatively, get a marshal aka the scout

It's pretty cool how you showcase how your mentality changes over time both based on how you lose, win or whether for how long you haven't eaten and such. How your mood swings, which might not even be because of your performance but more because of your reluctance to food intake!

god i hope they bring in the replay system soon. i swear they said it was "in the works" when the game first came out but its been 2 years since then. really missing a matchmaking academy for this game, getting to a rank where some games i just feel like i forgot how to play the game. would love to see you break down some of your own games, i especially feel your comments about the cs:go brain - didnt realise that crouchspraying and the like were bad habits and am working hard to get rid of them. cant wait to see more valorant content from you :)
Your talk about the loser mentality is so true. I play cs, but the friends I play with would give up mentally and start raging… even when we were winning sometimes. It just started changing recently, and the difference in how many games we win is incredible

It's okay tho, her kit is all over the place with deafen, blind, decayed, trails and all that jazz.
(the Eye of Sauron gives the black trails to enemies, not the goopy sticky ball that holds them in place and decays them; ulti does not cause damage over time, but impact damage that recovers back to full in a few seconds)

I think you shouldn't try to burn yourself out, we want more warowl after all :)
I suspect you could capture the heart of the "play for 10 hours" while making some small changes to keep your sanity. Examples being a forced break at 5-hr for food, smaller snack breaks at 2.5-3hr marks, or even changing it up and calling it "play for 2 days straight" but only do ~6hr each day.
Awesome video! If you're feeling burned out over long sessions probably do like 10 games instead of 10 hours.
Also, don't sleep on the marshall. It's the scout on steroids

To respond to your question: The Spectre got nerfed hard when you spray more than 4 bullets, the Ares had its accuracy and recoil screwed hard, and the Stinger has gotten nothing but nerfs. Like when you first started the Marshal is still incredibly powerful if you know what you are doing (perfect accuracy, one tap, no falloff, and high mobility). The shotguns can work, but you have to play up close because of those random patterns. Omen got his stats restored and then some, so he is really good for getting up close and personal via his fast and consistent Dark Cover.

9:19 if you win 1st round gaurdian+light shield is a good pick for a full buy. if they lost first they're likely not going to buy anything more than light shields on second making the whole enemy a 2 tap bodyshot as it does 130 in two. also the gaurdian can still hold its own in buy rounds with good aim especially on breeze with long angles. hope this is useful :)

Hi, WarOwl. I just wanted you to know that I always find you to be so entertaining.
Although it sucks to hear that it exhausts you to do this series at times (because this is honestly my favorite-- not that your other content isn't great as well. I just really enjoy seeing you play Valorant is all). Because I'd love to one day see a Playlist of you doing this with every character in the game. I would bingewatch the hell out of that!
And maybe after you've that experience with all Agents, maybe you could give your take upon what's great about the Agents and how some things would be nice if they were to be changed. Like how you would make Neon a stronger pick, etc. (Truer words have never been spoken than you saying that the Marshall should be nerfed, or have it's price drastically raised. Thing's stupidly overtuned.)
Wish he would do it all on one account tho. I get why pros feel the need, but doing it for a goofy YT video (in a game you' barely even care about) only encourages a problem that damages the game for everybody else.
But sure, I'll believe that the account you spend 90% of your time on "just goofing around" isn't your main account ;) I didn't see that entire market for boosted/stolen valorant accounts!

On big maps like Breeze, Guardian and Marshal are very good for second round. Marshal one shots enemies with no armor and Gaurdian two shots enemies with no or light armor. The first two bullets of Guardian go almost exactly where you are aiming.
Ever thought about making agent/maps/mechanics/role guides for Valorant? Honestly I'd love watching them because of your mix of skill, humor and talent to explain.

I honestly like buying the bulldog on second round sometimes, it's a bit ballsy since you go for broke more than you would with a spectre, but it's extremely helpful if you're playing a longer angle, such as watching mid link from cat on ascent.

Haven't watched your content in a while, but found this video because I picked up Valorant again. I can say I would enjoy videos of you just playing valorant first person, something along the lines of "solo q to global elite". Not an original idea but I would watch that coming from you. Also, your CSGO guides were the best videos of that kind I saw for any game. Valorant has a shitton of (shity) guides, but making a compact library of guide videos on the most important topics (like you did for CSGO) would be absolutely stellar.

for 2nd rd buys, you can try bulldog with light shields. it doesn't 1 tap to the head if the enemy has shields but at least the recoil reset and accuracy is similar to the phantom or vandal, long range engagements won't be as much of a pain. it's also good enough against phantom or vandals if u keep it into the 3rd rd

9:20, Answering to that question. Its either Sheriff or Marshall, doesn't matter if you win or lose the pistols, you can always buy these guns, and its pretty good if have a good aim.
