- We played a game of Competitive Counter-Strike where the Coaches (on both teams) were cheating! Coaches were in spectator mode and could position themselves anywhere they wanted on the map. Here's... what happened!

you realise that the olofboost happen at a lan and there was no way for the coaches to cheat ( that goes as a general for lan-events). furthermore the olofboost is something completly different than the coaches exploiting a bug and cheat.

@@R3in_Ch Coaches have to be the first one in the server and when they trigger coach mode it bugs their perspective to a (random?) location
@@R3in_Ch coaches stuck in a location which sometimes give them game breaking info, some coaches reported it, some did not, many have banned
@@thesenate8268 yeah but sometimes they were kinda useless and hurt the team. like one of the coaches got stuck in t spawn and was practically useless
Honestly, this is really really cool (when its part of the ruleset). Feels like the 6th player is watching through a camera from their base to help the ones in the field.
Just like on Beta maps from Original CS
There were a lot of maps with cameras which could be used like this

Turns out WarOwl and HOUNGOUNGAGNE were actually having a tournament that they would make videos on, but they found out they were both abusing the spectator glitch so they turned it into this video instead.

- but no reserv ammo
- but infinit ammo
- but only pistols
- but no nades
- but 2 bombs
Or single Bullet infinite reload deagle, aka Golden Gun from R6.
@Alex Schlee no nades in mirage would be very ct sided
the without reserve ammo and no nades might be cool (or borken) but the infinite ammo i dont think will have that much impact (or just not interesting to watch if they just use negev for supression) and only pistols is just pistol rounds.
@@nothinggood306 i think "infinite ammo" is interesting bc weapons with little ammo like the cz would bc meta. Also u could do the Deathmatch Infinite ammo type. And pistol only is good i think bc. it mixes the simplicity of the pistel round with the complexity of the later round in which you can buy grenades and especially a HELMET ...

Idea: 1 person on each team has "wallhacks" on and everyone else has to guess who has "wallhacks" on the opposing team

I wonder if we could create a new sort of "minigame" where both team have a coach like this in a competitive match, but it's a CCTV instead. The CCTV is located around the map, but only a few of them exist and the coach can only spectate one of them and will have to switch to a different CCTV in order to spectate other rooms. The CCTV could be destroyed in a single hit with anything in order to prevent the other team's coach to spectate it, but it will also prevent your own coach to spectate it too. Also, there's a cooldown on how often you can switch between CCTV, so the coach have to switch around wisely.
