There are basically three reasons to watch a video and subscribe to a channel. One, the content itself. Not many people are going to watch a video on something that doesn't interest or is of no practical use to them. Two, the way said content is presented in terms of technical quality, style, edits, point of view, etc. And three, to the extent that they're a part of them, the person who made said video or videos, in terms of their personality, sense of humor, voice, and, yes, their looks and overall appearance. On all of these, Angie, you rock. Seriously, this is a damn good channel, one of the best travel by car, van, RV, skoolie, skateboard or whatever and see the country channels I've seen. If Rick Steves ever retires, I nominate you to be his replacement. Only you're much funnier and prettier. And I'm pretty sure that when I visited the caves many years ago I also debated whether to pay for the entrance fee, but ended up deciding to and not regretting it. I had to wonder though what would happen if someone were to walk among the sea lions. Would they be ignored, welcome or dinner?
Hey Angie, I drove from Canada to Oregon and just past the sea lion cave. I want to go to where the starfish locates but it's time to head back.. I like your videos and from my trip I understand a lot what you experienced. Happiness, freshness, confusion and also loneliness. I slept in my civic and haven't been showered for days😂 Thank you for the inspiration🎉
I like the national geographic narration filled with fun facts of the animals behaviors. I.e. the bison in South Dakota and now the sea lions haha Hope the $18 was worth it Angie. Thank you for the videos much appreciated. God bless and safe travels.

LOL. I spent the same $18 to walk into the same cave a few years ago. It was worth it, but mostly because my companion was so damn excited about the whole thing they became the entertainment.
Yay! You found it. The mystery place was Neptune beach. Great exploring at low tides. And the ocean puts on quite a show during high tides. My favorite. 😊

July 16th they actually closed Cannon Beach because there was a cougar on Haystack Rock! Also, if you’re ever on the Southwest corner of the Oregon coast, please visit Harris Beach State Park in Brookings! It has the coolest hidden trail that leads to an amazing lookout spot.

I understand why you don't give your location in advance, but I am a veritable tourist guide for the Oregon coast. Hint for star fish... low tide and large rocks exposed by the tide.
I feel like this is me if I was a woman and had never gotten married. But instead, I got married, worked too much, left Chicago in 2001, just started driving West and ended up in Bend, OR for 15 yrs and raised my kids there! But NEVER would I have endlessly grumbled about $18 for the seal cave, because as my wife & kids will tell you: I WOULD NEVER PAY $18 FOR THE SEAL CAVE! Because for us it would have been $90 for 5 of us! NOOOO! It actually pains me to know that YOU paid $18 for the seal cave.
Angie, you are an attractive woman. Yet, when you do some funny faces while acting goofy, I see a hint of 'Barney Fife' from The Andy Griffith Show of the 1960's! It is surprising how easily you can change your look. I am glad to have found your channel.

Your not the first to become frustrated with the drizzle and cloudy skies during the winter. The Louis and Clark squad had issues with it. I live in the area from May to November then head south. Sure, $18 for a sea lion cave sounds expensive, but when you think about it, it comes to less than 25 cents per sea lion.
