To all the people who don’t see this video, they don’t know what they’re missing! It’s not just the scenery, but the wonderful, informative tour guides. Gracias!
Too bad you didn't see more of Medicine Hat, like Medalta Museum and Riverside area. I am getting ready with my van and 2 pets to head East to Perth, ON and maybe to Maritimes. Gave me some ideas for places to pull over too. After Eastern drive head to Vancouver Island and Saltspring Island, BC. Golden is my favourite place on first stop Taber/Fernie. I like History of new places to explore.
Yes, we wish we could have spent more time in Medicine Hat and Moose Jaw. We were cruising by! And thanks for the tips for people to follow if they keep taking the highway East!
Oooh! If you are just getting into the flow of our episodes, then your are going to LOVE what’s ahead!! Across Canada, all the way to Alaska, and 30 episodes of epic Alaska adventures await 😊 Welcome aboard! 🫶
@@ArtWeThereYet I sure did and got a lot of pins for my map. I'm presently on the road staying at a family's in Atikokan. I've seen Pukaskaw and going back for more before heading west!
To show how far things have come, when I lived in eastern Canada for two years in the early '60s they just put gravy on fries. Thank uou for the excellent video phptography. 30:55
50 years from now, they'll be adding crumbled bacon on top! Yum!!!! 🍟 Thank you so much for taking the time to enjoy the episode and hit the road with us!
Most interesting fact? Not sure. You've shown me things about my own country I didn't know. We have traveled the TransCanada, but many, many years ago. We lived in Alberta for a few years...about 40 years ago. Wow things have changed. So, I have to say all of your video is full of new facts for me. I also have to say, I love your bus. Really love it. Such a clever home on wheels. Many blessings to you.
Thank you, Diana! I often feel the same way about the USA and Jose feels that way often about Nicaragua. We often have so much to learn about our own countries! Sending a hug from the highway! - Cora
Just wanna say I'm loving your content. I moved to Edmonton Alberta from VANCOUVER BC back in April. I wasn't much of an explorer back in BC which I regret but I have been going to a lot of long drives around Alberta whenever I get the chance !! ❤❤ I haven't been Saskatchewan twice so far entering througj LLYODMINSTER both times ! I really loved the flat greenlands, farms and greenery of Saskatchewan. I went to Battleford, Cochin & then back to Alberta.
So happy you are enjoying our little journeys with us! There is such a beauty in the plains of Alberta as well! There's beauty to be found everywhere!!
Atlas coal mine in drumheller valley is a great stop!! Alberta has by far the largest oil reserves in Canada, not third. Bow river is pronounced like bow and arrow.
Pembroke is actually where we broke down and Jose had to fix a couple things in Bobby's engine! th-cam.com/video/P08w8eW55-A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LdtleiOdYpfO5QmW So unfortunately our time there was all business...
I think you missed an opportunity, I would’ve suggested when you travelled to Banff national park, you should not have travelled when it’s almost nightfall, it would’ve been better if you stayed in calgary and waited till crack of dawn then made your travel, as you come closer to the mountains and as the sun shining these mountains revealing great colours and details of the mountains, that’s one I will never ever forget as my first time going to banff. Anyways safe travels to you guys 🙏🏽
the drumheller museum was my favorite place to go to as a kid actually still is, i hate the drive though 5hrs+ of flatland and crops gets rather tiring really quick specially when you do it every year.
I have just now discovered your vlogs and I find them absolutely perfectly vidoed and Lady your voice overs are delightful. I appreciate the beauty of Canada more so throught your efforts. I am wondering how I may also do a trans Canada road trip in a campervan. I would need to rent one and so am wondering if that is economically viable given the hugh distances that I would need to back track over in order to return the campervan to its original pick-up point. Safe travels dear people. I will continue to follow you vlogs. Cheers from down-under. Ray
Hi Ray, thank you so much for your kind words, we are really happy you enjoyed our videos! There is so much to see on Trans Canada highway that we wouldn't mind doing a round trip to see as much as possible. But if time and money is a constrain, we are pretty sure you could rent a camper van that you can drop in a different location. There are plenty of people starting this trip at both ends of the highway so there must be a camper van company offering a one way rental. Hope you can find a good economical option to do this drive, it's a once in a lifetime experience! Cheers from Alaska!😀
Alberta: You missed Vulcan - Star Trek murals, and "Head Smashed In" Buffalo Jump near Lethbridge. I went to the Royal Tyrrell Museum and was amazed at it's size!
I say “of all places” because I am a Wisconsinite as well (I was born and raised in Vernon County). We made this video back when our following was so small that most of our viewers knew our story (that I’m from Wisconsin and Jose from Nicaragua). So they understood that when I said, “of all places!” they understood it was a nod to the fact that my among the few US states that have Calatrava buildings, one of them just happens to be my home state. Now the video has gotten more popular and folks who don’t know us are watching, and so now I see how that part can be taken as a jab! But I promise that’s not how it was written ❤️
At 15:50 you mentioned that Alberta has the third largest oil reserves in Canada. Not quite. Alberta has the third largest crude reserves in the WORLD, and far more than any other province of Canada (or State in the USA, for that matter).
@@ArtWeThereYet I drove to downtown Montreal a few months ago at 5pm and was shocked at how little traffic there was. It was like driving through a typical town in the US of 10,000 people.
My name is Cora 😊 I have been studying Spanish since I was a little kid, and now that I am part of a Nicaraguan family, I have lots of practice speaking 😊👍🫶
What is the most INTERESTING FACT you learned in this episode?
The tunnels
the dinosaur stories :)

Aw that's sweet. Thanks, Tomas!

So nice of you! Thank you for watching!

Beautiful country, Canada. This makes me want to hit the road ASAP :-)😊
An Alaskan road trip will have to do for now :)
Loved this episode, my 2 year old little girl loved it too, she loves the bus :D. I can't wait to watch the next episode :)
Awww, tell her we send her a wave all the way from Alaska! 👋
Moose Jaw - how cool!
Best footage and narrative about Canada I’ve ever seen! TH-cam should recommend more videos like this.

Thanks for the fact checks! 👍👍
I caught that too and wondered. I suspect she meant 3rd largest pil reserves in the world.

"Milwaukee, Wisconsin of all places!' (Calatrava) As a Miwaukeean I'm not sure how to take that - a little miffed I believe.

Yes, I misspoke in that section.
🙏
The main advantage of that detour up through Dinosaur Park was you got to avoid the absolutely horrific smell of the feedlot outside Brooks.
Yikes
It’s kinda funny they named it Tyra

Canadian cities do seem more quiet. They often have far less traffic than US cities.

Highway? Haha, 2 way road would be very generous term for Canadian road.
Actually quite a bit of it is four lane
