My man, I'm now using your setup for FFB and Video and wow for me its a huge upgrade in fun and comfort. I'm an older guy with lots of pain and these setting have made it so I can drive much longer and be in less pain!
Just came to say i've used your FFB settings and made some slight tweaks and man are they great, thank you! Subbed I went for : Wheel T300rs SAT - 75 Wheel friction - 35 tyre friction - 0 suspension - 125 tyre slip - 90 engine - 100 collision - 99
Thx for the tips. I'm a newish console player but I your tips seem legit. I don't have a handbrake so I re-mapped my clutch pedal. Works awesome even if I look like I'm doing an Irish jig when I gotta turn and burn.
@kevink1032 I usually use 48 percent brake bias to brake and it might be slightly faster than hand brake if u do it very well. U can get faster exits however it is very easy to lock up so be careful with it
Great tips. keep up the good work 👏 I hope you channel will expand. Some (if not the best?) info on sim racing, be it acc or rally. You def. know what you talking about.👍
Re. brightness, I still feel it massively overexposed, even if turned down to 15. Therefore initially I would only drive at sunrise or dawn (which cannot be selected in time attack mode). Fortunately there is a great fix on racedepartment which solves this problem, highly recommendet!
Excellent video mate, very helpful. I like, all your videos because you explain things well, would like to see video of your favourite stages, maybe top 2 or 3 from each country?, just an idea for you maybe? Anyway keep up the good work 👏
@@Bratmouse1 excellent, look forward to it, also maybe a video on the difference between wrc 1 cars, which is best for tarmac, gravel or snow, or are they the same but sound different??? I can never decide what I preference I like? Thanks bud
really important to mention that your wheel is not direct drive. i have both, and my force feedback settings were conpletly different between my both wheels. there is nothing that felt the same. personal opinion and preference: - wheel friction is like a dead feedback, it dosnt provide anything, and even detrimental to overall feedback. i prefer having tire friction higher (35) and wheel friction lower (10). since wheel friction input feedback by the amount of friction the tire have on a surface before slipping, so the balance between tyre slip and tire friction is really important. that way you know when the car is sliding/breaking traction and gaining traction. that feedback help you gage the throttle and brakes better.
I did mention that my wheel isn’t a DD. Yeah FFB is always a personal preference. Everyone likes different things. I always I try to setup my sim racing stuff to mimick any of the race cars I use to race.
Good stuff mate, thank you. I don’t have a handbrake, so I bind mine to the clutch pedal. Takes a bit of getting used to but seems to work well enough. I get lost in the tuning setups, such as the damping and suspension, and all that stuff. If you had some tutorials on that to explain what each one does (the game does a pretty poor job of it) that would be awesome 👍 🇦🇺
Thanks man! It’s on my list of videos to make. In the mean time you can check out my ACC setup video with the thumbnail “what does all this do”. That should point you in the right direction. As far as what it does for getting more grip less grip. The theory’s are the same.
Hi i got a quastion. Do you know why it's no damage on headlights on wrc 23?Im playing on ps5. I have had pretty bad crash, the bumper was hanging off but the headlights wasn't broke. On Dirt Rally 2.0 if you hit something you have no lights working or somtimes is left or just right depends which side its the damage on car and that's really looks realistic.
Self sligning torque seems to steer for me😅 on a g920. I've set self aligning to 10 Wheel friction similar to my crapbox Tyre friction 110 tyre slip 50 Suspension 120 The rest default 🤷♂️
Just his take on it, it has softlock so use 900 or 1080 whichever your wheel is man. Then it matches real cars as not every car is 540, people just have weird theory on it….
I’ve had some issues but nothing like what your describing. Sorry man but I didn’t make the game. I just try to make videos which help people in the community
@@Bratmouse1 Of course, not dumping on you. Would be nice to have it be able to get through even the 21km stage without losing my co-driver's calls and then driving into oblivion a few seconds later lol.

Tyre Slip and Engine FFB i have them Off , If u have Tyre slip ON for some reason when u lock the brakes it keeps vibrate and its wrong to me .
Mine only vibrates when the tires are slipping and then it goes away.

Hi. What settings do You have on the wheel? Please let me know 😀
Self sligning torque seems to steer for me😅 on a g920.
I've set self aligning to 10
Wheel friction similar to my crapbox
Tyre friction 110
tyre slip 50
Suspension 120
The rest default 🤷♂️
If that’s what works for you that’s great!
Brightness 15-20 for SDR is the correct option yeah ...
Yeah I mean it’s all personal preference and also down to how bright your monitor is also.
Actually linearity +2 for me made the steering much more realistic. Before it was too twitchy. Codemasters default linearity is strange in many games.
If it works for you that’s great!
@@Bratmouse1 yeah. It makes the steering feel more light on the middle, kinda like ACC.
Why game needs 540 steering 🤦
