Wow, look at those nicely detailed shingle and brick sheets, I wonder where they're from.... YOU MADE THEM BY HAND?? The absolute madness and dedication, this is Breathtaking and Wild!
"Nothing is more fun than painting 10,000 individual bricks that no one will ever notice." Look at it this way: If you hadn't done it, it wouldn't be missed. But since you did, it's a wonderful bit of detailing that even if it goes unmentioned definitely adds to the beauty of the piece.
Maybe you could undertake larger projects if you split the video into two releases. That could buy you a bit of time, and maybe take some of the pressure off. I think you could make it work with the same format, with glamours of the progress and such. I also think it would be amazing to see what you can create in double the time. Maybe you can make a poll to see what the wider community thinks.
Been watching a couple of other Channels about Miniature-Crafting, but i gotta say: your artstyle, commentary and especially your sense of humor got me hooked! Can't wait to watch your other Videos!
Hey, thanks! Given how terrific the channels that do this sort of stuff are, I take that as very high praise! If you keep watchin' 'em, I'll keep makin' 'em!
I was reading Creating a Champion and I felt so bad for the designers of botw because I realized they had to make a complete kingdom and then redesign it be destroyed, making two whole separate things just for the outcome to look technically worst. This video reminds me of the dedication to sticking to a style and story and its really admirable
You are finally the very first TH-cam channel I have ever noticed that takes a significant time to demonstrate the final product. Most the time do spend 18 minutes showing how they did it and then only 30 seconds displaying their finished product. And that is the most satisfying part of your video thank you
ooh, this is exactly my aesthetic! the temple of time in that game is one of my favorite places in any videogame- it's just such a lovely place for pondering- really makes me wonder about the people who went there before, and the history of that old place. awesome build!
I LOVE miniature things a LOT, and seeing these miniature pros is actually so impressive and addicting to watch. I wish I had all those materials to make rly realistic things but currently Im just tryna make a house from Zelda with some cardboard and paper lmao
I love how going back and rewatching an older video like is much like rereading an book and finding new things you missed before and gives you a whole new level of appreciation for these great creations all over again 19:33
Love it! I would be extremely interested in seeing you tackle a Portal 2 test chamber with all of the weathering and plant life. Maybe putting that blue semi transparent fimo to use for the light bridges and blue portal....??
I think that's exactly what we meant by quality content. It turned out really great! But I don't get it 1k views just 145 thumbs up...come on... really? Get in... smash the like button!
Thanks! I was really pleased with the end result for this one. I just assumed the other 855 people were waiting for their second viewings (optimism, amiright?)
I am so impressed with the techniques and the finished look, but what really made the video is your humor. I laughed outloud so many times while watching this. Great job. Thank you so much for sharing this.
I know you said the individual brick painting wasn’t fun but omg it looked absolutely fabulous. I mean I was just in aww of the shading and the texture and detail of the bricks. Not to mention the wood detailing the brokenness of the roof and the windows dimensions; just amazing. You have such talent and patients to get all of those details. Thank you so much for sharing your creations with us, I am so great full to see your artistry at work.
the style of your commentary really makes you stand out from all the other diorama channels. your jokes and your willingness to make fun of yourself always make me smile lol. major kudos to you.
It's really cool hearing how much more confident you sound in newer videos, still love them all, just really enjoy seeing/hearing development from artists, it's inspiring!
This is absolutely amazing. The amount of detaiiil. I don't know how it looks so freakin dynamic with its contrast considering such a limited palette. My applause dude.
I'm simply blown away by your videos, creativity and humour... it's a real 'feel good experience' watching! Great job and thank you and your patrons! :)
The thing I love about you and your channel man is that you get just as good result with some ingenuity, elbow grease and a whole of a lot of artistic talent as the big TH-cam channels with 3D printers and laser engraving machines and what not. Keep it up man, you inspire.
Somehow, this could be used as a tutorial for both Breath of the Wild and Ocarina of Time when it comes to the Temple of Time Exact same thing, just for OOT don’t destroy stuff and it should be good. In Breath of the Wild they seem to have based the Temple of Time directly from OOT, in the right angle the ruins look like the Castle Town market. So, theoretically, with less breaking things this would look like the regular Temple of Time. Though, some more things may need replacement, but who’s shocked that there’s differences in way over 10,000 years? I’m just shocked it stayed like that for so long. Nice idea, now I’m gonna try and make one myself following this and see if my theory works out. If not, I’ll let you know. If so, I’ll probably let you know. Wow ! only thing that could make this better ( maybe) is adding a LED to shine down on the statue. But honestly i don't know if it would make it look better or just add another layer of depth.
Came here after the video was suggested by me watching ALLLLLL the Studson Studio stuff... And I am not disappointed! This is absolutely AMAZING and I love every bit of it. BREATH OF THE WILD FOREVER!
Welcome to the channel! I'm glad you're not disappointed, Studson is a hard act to follow, but if you've burned through all his material, then hang around a while and see if there isn't something that can keep you sated till he releases something new!
@@NorthoftheBorder Oh I think I'll like your content just as much. Literally died inside when you snapped the row of windows you were working on. Now that I've actually tried gluing something together and waiting for it to dry...
