Finally a realistic video on how long it takes to go thru entire listing process. So many other TH-camrs brag about listing 20 item as in an hour which is impossible if you are researching comps and taking pictures and everything.
I do the same thing! When listing I play one of these videos I'm the background or on my phone with an earbud in my ear. Really helps the time go by when taking pics and listing and I'm learning new things at the same time 😊
You had me rolling when talking about the high heels. I can’t believe I lived in that style for decades! Not anymore tho and I agree with you. I’d die now 😂 Some comments are talking about your listing taking too long. I think you are doing several things: learning, tracing and sharing! It probably take you less time in real life. I thank you for the video because it’s REAL! When you love what you do, you do what you’re doing! I appreciate it very much.
One thing I like to do when storing shoes in bags is drop one or two moisture absorbing desiccant packets inside the bag and in the container itself to keep humidity out. I had a pair of shoes grow mold inside a bag due to moisture. 😅
This by far has been the most informative video. Thank you for the time you put into sharing this with us. I’ll definitely be watching a couple more times, until I get the hang of everything.
I have just committed to selling online, so this video is the perfect way to begin. I foresee spending many hours with you, your videos, and sales information. I will be using List Perfectly, thanks for the discount.
As a man who found his way on poshmark mostly with my bins in Utah which are now shot out. Coming back to reselling your honest content and brand dropping is life saving! So glad you're still making educational and entertaining content! As a super fan this long form content is perfect for photo time!
Love the step by steps. I honestly always comp at stores. For me it doesnt take too long and I can get a good idea if things are worth buying. Everyone does things a big differently but this video gives me great ideas to do for myself as well. Thanks
hahahaa omg! That's so awesome that you enjoy watching reselling content even though you have no intention of reselling! Can I ask what you enjoy about reselling videos if you're not a reseller yourself?
Becky, your kids sounded amazing! You should be so proud of everything you’ve accomplished! That’s a LOT! I enjoy watching “What Sold” no matter when it took place!
Becky, I use the First Street Food & Bread bags from Smart and Final for my shoes, using one bag per shoe or one if it's a flat sandal. They are great for personal use when you are travelling also!
These videos were very helpful, I have been looking for something like this!! I love how you take the time and explain step by step, very well appreciated, looking forward to your other videos.❤
Finally agree, a full process video, great video and learned a lot from you Becky. Really enjoy all your content, like to see all of this as a newer reseller. 😊😊
Hey Becky, I am a new reseller. I am wondering if You’d do a video on the taxes of a reseller. I am scared I won’t get it right and end up owing money. Some tips and sources would be amazing
Sometimes vintage Frye doesn’t have markings tho you would absolutely see the quality as they are made a million times better then they are now . I had a vintage pair I sold for about $150 Canadian with no markings but the logo on the side . but it was obviously Frye from the 70s .
So good to know! These didn’t feel very high quality lol so that was another telltale sign to me that they were probably fake. I feel like vintage Frye is even HIGHER quality.
@Becky Park I had a question, I am interested in opening my own online e-commerce shop. I also live in Illinois, just wondering if you could share the process you went through in opening yours or if you have recommendations on links, articles, or courses you could recommend or share. Like did you have to register for a business license, like how do you collect sales tax, etc. I'm really curious to hear your journey, like what have you learned so far, and what would you if anything differently. I've been looking for information on this, its a bit sparse and some of it is not related to second hand reselling. Thank you again for your great content, I truly appreciate the honesty of your videos, and seeing your journey!
What size (oz) of silica desiccant packets do you use for the shoes and any brand recommendations? Where & how do you get your eBay tape? (Learning here!) I like your Harry Potter wand! Fellow fan 😊
Thank you for this video. I'm new to all this, and it really helped me to see how the process works. Also, I like getting ideas of what platforms to use to list resale items besides Ebay.
awww I'm so happy to hear that you learned something from this video! And I really don't think you'll regret upgrading to Pro - personally, I think it is the way to go!
I noticed the other day that list perfectly has the option to knock the backgrounds out using photoroom so you don’t have to do it before. I haven’t tried it yet but I did see that option on there
I use Vendoo and they've recently added that feature. It's so useful because it's cut out the extra time to use another app to cut out the backgrounds. You just have to make sure you crop the pictures to how you want them presented before uploading them.
Yes! you can do this with the pro plan. I personally don't use it through LP because I like to do it in bulk on my phone using the actual Photoroom app, and that's the rhythm I've kind of developed for myself over the years. That being said, I know people who haven't paid for the app and just use the feature on LP to remove the background for their cover photo.
How can I list consistently a certain amount of items, if I have 100 a month listing restriction? It seems, like I am the only person who struggle with this, as everyone else youtubers are saying about 10 at least, and 20 for sure listings daily. Am I ever going to be able to list 300 items a month??? Hard to build a business without being able to put your inventory out as quick as possible, and source for more.
Great video , I have a question about eBay when adding dimensions to our package /box , there are 3 boxes to add measurement and my question is do we input them as length , width and height in that order ? Does it matter what way we input them and in what order ? I’m newer to eBay and called and eBay said it was telling me it’s length height and width I’m so confused ? Please help
Sorry I didn’t get to this sooner-I think I answered you on IG, but tbh, it doesn’t really matter the order you put these in since all eBay really cares about is the total size. I hope that helps!
I have got to say, your Goodwill is so expensive! I live in Atlanta and still rarely see shoes over $7. Probably because I have about 6 GW stores within about 30 minutes of me. Definitely don't run out of inventory.
Sigh. It really is. It’s bc there’s only two in like, an hour radius, and they’re always so picked over, so they feel like they can get away with pricing like this. Which, I guess they kind of can. That’s why I really don’t go to goodwill very much anymore.
In middle Florida, at least $9.99 aka $10+ tax minimum for 🩴 shoes 👟 , then the shoes aren’t in good condition, for a decent condition it jumps to $12.99 then goes upward. The stores in the area are franchises and the employees are required to send “quality items” to Corp to GW online auction store. It’s super rare to find items to resale anymore 😢
so i am really into selling shoes now but one problem. I picked some up long time ago and there is no size. How do you measure? If they are a pointed toe it will be harder
I’ve done this. If you have many shoes in your inventory, put the shoes against various size shoes until you find a match. If you think you’ve found a match, check it against many other shoes of that same size to make sure it’s consistent. That’s what I do!
I record any sales tax paid in resale items and deduct it on my schedule C at tax time. Goodwill doesn’t want to deal with T.E. sales at least in my area.
Finally a realistic video on how long it takes to go thru entire listing process. So many other TH-camrs brag about listing 20 item as in an hour which is impossible if you are researching comps and taking pictures and everything.
awww I'm glad you found this helpful. I know it was a looooooong one but I did want to show what reselling looks like in real time.
Shutz is a good brand, and I have found most of them being pretty comfortable for the most part. Great video, as always. ❤
These long videos are great for marathon sessions of photographing and listing. Feels like I have a friend working along side me.
Glad we got to hang out :)
Agree!
I do the same thing! When listing I play one of these videos I'm the background or on my phone with an earbud in my ear. Really helps the time go by when taking pics and listing and I'm learning new things at the same time 😊
Agreed! Her voice and manner of speaking is so pleasant! Just found her and SO glad I did! ❤
Same!!😃

Thank you; this video is very thorough.

The Google lens on the desktop is the greatest takeaway for me 🎉 Thank you, Becky!
Schultz is a Brazilian brand, higher end brand from Arezzo (also made in brazil). Super high quality!
Do more videos like this! So helpful to see the whole process!
More to come! I’m so glad you enjoyed this and found it helpful ❤️
Finally a video teaching how to do comps and use list perfectly!
This by far has been the most informative video. Thank you for the time you put into sharing this with us.

New subie here! Gonna go through my closet and give it a stab. Great content; thanks

Fantastic video. A lot of work put into producing it. So interesting and informative every step of the way.
I have been reselling awhile but it is good to learn new ideas for listing.
All your tips about the listing process are clear and super helpful!
I am just starting in the reselling aspect. Your video has helped me immensely. I am so thankful for this…so thank you. 🙏👍
Do I resell? No… Do I plan on ever reselling? No…. Will I watch this entire video? Of course!
hahahaa omg! That's so awesome that you enjoy watching reselling content even though you have no intention of reselling! Can I ask what you enjoy about reselling videos if you're not a reseller yourself?

Do you manually delete from all sites after selling? Ty
Thank you for this. Sometimes listing seems so daunting, but to see how you go through it and crosslist is helpful! Have a great evening 😀
You're so welcome! I'm glad it was helpful :)

Thank you so much for taking us through this incredible journey of your business.
How did you create your keyword shortcut?
I reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy enjoyed this video and I watched the whole thing ;) TYSM for showing me other ways of doing something. I'm def considering LP!
A lot of info, enjoyed very much!!
What size (oz) of silica desiccant packets do you use for the shoes and any brand recommendations? Where & how do you get your eBay tape? (Learning here!)
I like your Harry Potter wand! Fellow fan 😊
Great video! I have 300 items to sell as a newbie. This cideo helped me so much to get an idea of what is realistic as a reseller!!
Hi Becky can you please tell me what label maker you use to print yours shopping labels, thank you Sarka
Great video. So glad to see your listing time. Loved this style of video.
Loved it so much! Thank you! So much great info, Im just starting ;) 😃🙌
I NEED THOSE HEES!! THEY ARE GORGEOUS!
Right???? They were amazing.
Thank you this was very informative
Yay! I’m so happy to hear that.
Thank you for this video. I'm new to all this, and it really helped me to see how the process works. Also, I like getting ideas of what platforms to use to list resale items besides Ebay.
Thank you, I definitely got a lot of value from this video.
Great video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
thank you so much!
Thank You Becky!! ♥️🫶
Love those Shutz shoes…for me those are “I’m just going to sit here and look cute don’t ask me to get up😂😂”
1000% lol. Like...how are you actually supposed to walk around in those without falling on your face?
Great video
Thank you so much for this!
I like this. Do It again 🎉
haha really? If I did, what category should I do next? This time I did shoes - what else would be helpful for you to see?
Hi, Becky! Can you do a video on keyword short cut? I spend so much time re-Typing all my things I say over and over. Thank You
I linked one in the description of this video, but I can definitely do an updated version!
Thank You for this Becky!
I hope it was helpful!
Thank you so much for doing this video!!! It helps so much!!!! Thank you thank you!!
awww yay! I'm so happy to hear that!
Good show, I'm very interested in the List Perfectly app.
Amazing❤
Do you need a LLC or a EIN to sell on Poshmark?
That gouge is where the foam insole was cemented to the base of the shoe
I think the Frye booties will sell first. Great video.
isn't it shocking that they haven't sold yet??? What the heck???
Love the video and I have list perfectly but now will upgrade to pro. Thanks, I learn alot and I been doing this now for over a year
awww I'm so happy to hear that you learned something from this video! And I really don't think you'll regret upgrading to Pro - personally, I think it is the way to go!
@beckyparkco I was just amazed at everything you were able to input on list perfectly, I feel like I have to still add so much on everything
That's a lot of work!
I noticed the other day that list perfectly has the option to knock the backgrounds out using photoroom so you don’t have to do it before. I haven’t tried it yet but I did see that option on there

Yes! I love how everyone has their own systems regarding how they list.
I thought fry boots were a little high especially considering the scuffs
Question????
Once I submitted my item for sale should I use the promote feature?
How can I list consistently a certain amount of items, if I have 100 a month listing restriction? Yes you did much appreciated. Have a great weekend. 💜
Does list perfectly include PhotoRoom?

Canadian taxes are wild…it’s 13% in Ontario 😔
so i am really into selling shoes now but one problem. I picked some up long time ago and there is no size. How do you measure? If they are a pointed toe it will be harder

@@beckyparkco that is what i was going to do and i try them on. Problem is I ended up keeping 3 pair after putting them on
Great video. Love the stilettos.
Ty! They were beautiful, right?
Are you not able to use a reseller certificate in order to not pay sales tax?
I don’t believe you get tax exempt status if that’s what you’re asking, at least not at regular retail stores like goodwill.
I record any sales tax paid in resale items and deduct it on my schedule C at tax time. Goodwill doesn’t want to deal with T.E. sales at least in my area.
At high prices the shoes will be at the bins soon
Why aren't you tax exempt?
They sure do want every little detail about a pair of shoes. It's almost like filling out paperwork for the government. 😂
Frys sell first
The Ecco shoes are for men! Those are not women’s sizing. 41 women’s is a 10,5 US
Ur cute😊
I listed 20 items before you finished the third shoe.😂
Wow
It should not take this long to list anything. You are way overthinking everything.
Thanks Lori great info! 😊
