girl - CONVERSE!! they don't always sell for a lot, maybe not even quite $35 depending on the type. i usually find the low cut chuck taylors. BUT whenever i list converse they get a ton of attention and they sell FAST. i can always find pairs at the bins too. quick flip and consistent seller.
I’ve sold a lot of vionic. They are the only shoes I wear this past year , so my eye picks them out quickly on the shelf. My store hasn’t figured out that they are expensive yet. Great video!
Loved this video and all of your videos honestly💕 Found a pair of brand spanking new Brooks running shoes for $5 and sold the very next day for $60. As someone who sells mainly my personal stuff, it was the highlight of my week lol✨
I found some Crocs “Mary Janes” and today and some Sketchers “Mary Janes” at Goodwill for $4.99 each. I had no idea they made them. Comps look great too. Great info Becky!! I always learn so much from you. Thank you!!
Awesome info! I came across some Torrid shoes recently in a size 12, buy cost was $4 per pair. They weren’t boots but they were chunky heels…. They all sold extremely quickly for around $30. These larger sizes were mostly purchased by men for drag outfits… I loved giving them a good deal! Very large size women shoes sell well if they fit into the drag aesthetic. 👍
I've just decided to concentrate more on selling shoes. I researched the brands and know that I can make better money. I do sell Puma quite fast. Thanks for your great video!
Please KEEP IN MIND that whatever does good for someone is not the same for someone else. I have tried selling brands that she mentioned and it took FOREVER to sell. Crocs, Keens, and Vionic. I rarely pick those up anymore. I had a new in box Vionics and they took 1 YEAR to sell and kind of low. I don't pick those up anymore. Always always check comps and sell thru rate.
Vionic was recommended by my orthopedic doctor. It is now the only brand of shoe I wear! It made a huge difference to my knees! I was so surprised to hear it mentioned here
This video was great !! I am the person who stands in front of the shoes like a deer 🦌 in headlights . Ultimately walking away with nothing . This video will help me SO MUCH!! Thank you 😊
I literally just picked up a pair of Vionic at Goodwill! They were pink tag so happened to only be $1.49!!! I had never even heard of them but because they were so cheap and pretty cute I grabbed them. They're a black leather chunky block heel sandal/mule with an ankle strap and buckle, in perfect condition! Comps are AMAZING! I'm excited to list them and hopefully make a good profit. Thanks for the helpful video as always! 🙏🏼💕
The first time I tried my hand at retail arbitrage was with Steve Madden. It was a bag, tho, I went to a Marshall's in a wealthier area than where I live and got a steve madden bag for $17. I decided to use it for a few weeks since I really liked it, but decided to list it for $35 to see what would happen. It sold within a week! I haven't done a ton of arbitrage since and I haven't tried my hand at Steve Madden shoes but I'll have to!Same with Nine West, I always thought they wouldnt sell but I picked up a super cute pair of heels at the thrift and they sold for a little under $30! Thanks for the tips Becky!
The cool thing is Keen has the size chart on Google with inches and centimeters, but yes that is so annoying when the tiny little sneaker escapes. Thanks for the cool and informative video Becky!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE selling (and wearing) Vionic! They sell well, relatively quick, and for good money. Shoes are my best seller, Vionic being #1, but Clark’s is a close second.
Last summer I found four pair of Vionic in amazing condition for $3.00 each! You can bet I grabbed them and they did not sit in my closet very long! Looking forward to rummage sale season coming soon!!!
You really are the best teacher! It’s your god given gift! I’ve just recently started picking up shoes, I found some brand new Gianni bini boots in a size 5 and they sold for $55! I also love selling free People boots! I’m in Atlanta, GA and have also had the privilege of going to the Anthropologie/free people outlet in Augusta, they have some nice shoes but you have to pay up a little. We don’t have a bins near Atlanta that I know of unfortunately
So HELPFUL! Thanks for all the information. I'm kicking myself for selling some "weird" heel Crocs for $20 when I first starting reselling. I guess you don't know what you don't know. Thanks again for all the content!
I have plantars, pronation of the feet, and fallen arches. Vionics are the TRUTH! And...their styles are great instead of stereotypical orthopedic shoes. Love them!!
I have sold many Vionic. So many times the size tag is worn off, so they end up in the yard sale box. My advice on Vionic is to do a "stress test" where the straps meet the outsole. Many times I have gone to list and on further inspection they are falling apart. Keens are the same way.
I just started part time reselling and a couple of months ago and have listed Sam Edelman twice, and both times it sold within like a week. I already love it.
I live in the cold part of America that gets a lot of snow.I have a pair of sorrels that I have had for 15 years plus and I never liked them and I bought them used. The leather is still fantastic and they are waterproof still with no leaks.Pick them up if you see them.
One more tip.I am a tall person at 6’2” and anything 5X or 2x plus size that looks awesome is hard to find.I snatch that stuff up for myself as there are few brands that make things in big,big girl sizes.
Great shoe video. I learned a lot about brands I would not have looked for. Your videos are very informative and user friendly for me as a senior citizen-who desire to begin online selling. I’m totally inspired. Thank you so much Becky.
Yes- I personally love Birkies- they were the beginning of my journey to maintain comfy shoes & feet. I should think that if Birkies wrre in good shape, they ought to sell … not sure about the 35$ min….
Just a note to say I’ve watched you frequently over the last year and really appreciate all the work you put into them. I also admire how authentic you are! Great show on tips BTW.
I would throw Spenco’s in the mix. They’re a great orthotic brand and sold on QVC mainly. I feel like people who have worn Spenco’s stick with them because of how comfortable they are.
Dansko ~ YES! I have sold dry rot Dansko and didn’t know. I was shocked. I personally wear a lot of Dansko and Sanita clogs. After a dry rot refund I I thought the person was trying to scam me and then 8 months later it happened to me! So sad.
Thank you for all the good branding, and especially, trending/keyword information. I feel like, even if I can’t find quality branding, at least I can find a style than I’m able to boost with good keywords. Awesome job!
@@retiredandsassy Yes, especially their booties. I had what I I thought to be an ugly pair of laser cut sandals and those even sold (for a little lower price though).
