You’re pretty awesome, Justin! I don’t watch very many eBay sellers anymore. I made a lot of bad purchases in my first year based on unrealistic expectations presented by a number of hype resellers. (Beanies and squishmallows, anyone??) I’m clearing out many things that won’t sell. Space and peace of mind is more important than lost money. You, though, consistently provide quality content, no hype, just facts. I appreciate you.
For new sellers, also giving a positive feedback to buyers as soon as you ship the item i believe has helped me get more positive feedbacks then normal
Hi Justin- I enjoy your channel a lot. In answer to the vintage, antique, and retro question- vintage is 20 years or older. Antique is 100 years old. Retro is new made to look old, like those tin signs that you see everywhere. Hope this helps.
I've been listening between 5 and 10 items a day for a few months now my sales are so much better. If I take time away, I use end and relist. So helpful!
thank you so much for making this! long form content is my favorite because i love to have it playing on another screen throughout my work day. please do more of these if you can!
I wash all clothing. It's rare to get a piece of clothing to flip that does not stink. In the beginning of re-selling I sold and mailed an item that was not washed prior, and I regret it and learned the hard way. All Goodwill stores clothing stink and they spray a suppose to be nice spray on it and it just makes the smell worse, even yard sale clothing stinks. The only clothes I don't wash are new with tag clothing, they usually don't stink if your lucky and you cannot wash a clothing item with tags anyhow...Seller beware, wash used clothing just put it on quick wash cycle and hang dry to save on power if need be. I'm pretty good at washing wool and silk items so they do not shrink.
In a recent video you recommended setting automated feedback to be sent only after the buyer has left you (the seller) positive feedback. This made a lot of sense to me, so I made the change. Fortunately, my shop has not had much of a summer slow down this year, and I had three $500 days in a row - until yesterday when I had less than $100 in sales. I noticed that this was also when the count of my transactions awaiting feedback reached 100. Since my sales were even worse today, I reset my automated feedback back to when the buyer has paid, and guess what? The sales started rolling! Of course, this could all be coincidence, but I'm not taking my chances to switch back.
OMG really? I don’t have a washer & dryer at home. I don’t sell many clothes but laundering is something I’m not willing to do. The items I have listed are new with tags. I won’t be listing used clothing.
@@brendatomlinson I think the rule is actually the item should be clean, not that you, as the seller, must wash it. I usually make sure it looks clean and then do a “smell test”. Most people wash used clothes after buying, and before they wear it. I don’t want to waste water and electricity washing if it isn’t necessary.
One of the things I enjoy selling is hats. I do get them sometimes with a spot or mark on them, or maybe they're a bit dirty on the inside from normal wear. What I use is some regular blue dawn and a toothbrush. I've never had anything not come out when using this, but I also avoid the hats that are very badly stained or dirty. This has worked as well on plushies, even with white fur. I picked up a bag of plushies at my local Goodwill for one to give to my sister, and one of the other plush was dirty/stained yellow, so I tried cleaning it with dawn just to see and you'd never know now how dirty it was!
Justin, you are helping me so much with my eBay selling! I've been selling for over 20+ years on & off , and now that I'm retired, I 'm selling on eBay full-time and I am STILL learning so much from you! Your subtle sense of humor is hilarious. Sometimes in between your nuggets of wisdom & knowledge, you will say something (subtly) so funny and I laugh out loud and my husband will ask me "what's so funny?".....and I reply "It's Ebay Justin!" Anyhow, let me also add, you are a man of integrity. Thanks again and God bless you and your wife and your businesses!!!!😊🙏🏼👍🏼
My thoughts process on allowing returns...if returns are easy and free for buyers, I think they will not put as much consideration into how sure they will need/want the item. That assurance might result in more impulse buying wiith buyer remorse attached. As in, "I don't know if this will work for me, or fit me, but I can always return it". This is MY logic as a buyer. Is my theory correct? Who knows...
Yes you are correct this is exactly why I don’t offer returns. I only want buyers who know 100% that they want the item. Otherwise you will get a bunch of buyers remorse returns from my experience
Accounting rules require reporting of inventory costs at the LOWER of the actual cost (doesn’t matter when it was purchased) or current market value. In other words, the IRS does not allow you to write off a higher amount than your cost just because an item has appreciated over time. The cost is still the most you can write off. Hope this helps. Thanks for the great videos!
By that description than what an item sells for is the declared fair market value. (what someone is willing to pay is what the market bares.) So by putting your COG on a personal item as what it sold for would be correct? (assuming you paid more and/or had it for a certain length of time and are unable to recall the original purchase price)
@@teresavanmeter3409 If you are selling items at a loss, the COG is the actual amount you paid for the item. The revenue is the amount the buyer paid. If you don't have a receipt you cannot prove to the IRS what you paid for the item. In my opinion, the safest way to proceed is to find the receipt and record the actual cost, or use zero cost without a receipt.
Great video! Thank you for all the great and helpful info! One point tho..ebay REQUIRES that used clothing both be washed (or properly cleaned) AND that you state it in your listing.
I just found your channel. You're great at communicating your thoughts clearly and concisely. I will have to check out all your vids now, but one on your theories of ebay's listing order algorithm would be great. That's an interesting and useful topic for resellers. Thank you I got a lot out of watching this.
Hey Justin - I’ve just received another extra charge from UPS for “Additional Handling” for a longer item (this time a baseball bat - 35”) - an extra $12.95 on top of the $9.99 shipping. They clearly show that it’s not postage, but an extra handling fee. It’s killing my shipping cost on these items. It seems clear now that this is an extra fee for long times, but if it’s a standard fee, why isn’t eBay pricing this in when I purchase a label with the correct dimensions?
@14:25 don’t feel self conscious about doing package pick up! I have up to 50 packages sometimes, and a guy near me has 100 sometimes. My mail carrier actually loves it as they get a small bonus per package (I believe it’s 15 or 50¢ per package submitted on the form)
Yes, would appreciate a video about listing fees after the 250 free, store benefits. Thank you... watched the whole video while taking pictures. Just realized how slow I am in my process. 🤦🏻♀️
wow, I had no idea that information regarding the international shipping program, eBay takes care of everything after you get it to an eBay warehouse. That is very helpful! Great video, very informational and awesome insight! thanks man!
What is it, about Patagonia specifically, that resellers (myself included) keep every time when it is in great shape and our size? I dont keep the Saint John, I dont keep the Balenciaga..... but a lined flannel with that Patagonia logo has me repping. - looks great on you btw-
Hi Justin, I've been watching your channel for about a year and have learned a lot! I've been using Flipwise for about 2 months now and love it! Will you be adding the ability to put in information for drafts in the future? That's one feature I have noticed would be very helpful so that I don't have to wait to attach info to the listing until it's actually listed (i.e. purchase price, purchase location, storage location). Thank You! Todd
Unfortunately eBay does not make Drafts available via their API. If we could, we would! Instead we will allow you to add inventory directly to Flipwise instead of having to wait until it is listed on eBay. (And eventually allow you to list directly from Flipwise if you want!) This will allow you to add photos along with your acquisition data and storage location and expenses. We hope to have this functionality available later this summer.
Marie asks: I know that you recommend consulting a CPA for all tax-related stuff, but how often do you do this? Can I wait til February and do a one-and-done, or should I be hiring one on a quarterly basis? Thanks for all the excellent videos!
I'm burnt out on ebay. Sales have slowed so much. It's August and I've had 3 sales. I can't make a decision on what I want to try and sell ? I sell Vintage jewelry and have had decent results with 26 sales in less than a month but it isn't selling but one item a week now. I need to put more stuff up for sale but I'm burned out trying to find new scores.
The question about multiple offers for the same amount on an item is really a couple of questions. I have had this happen when listing highly sought after Zippo lighters from a private collection. There are people who have alerts set up such that I sometimes get offers in SECONDS after I list these, and some of them MULTIPLE offers, sometimes in the hundreds of dollars. (1) You can pick and choose among the offers (2) If it's an auction and somebody places a bid before you take action on offers, all of the offers are auto-declined. (3) You have to decide if ANY of the offers are acceptable to you before you can decide anything. You can absolutely counter, but I try to be fair and respond to the best of the offers that came in first. Say if there was first an offer for $50, then two offers for $200, and a 4th offer for $250. I'd respond first to the two for $200 and either counter or decline. The one who offered $50 is probably some dealer trying to lowball me, so I would just decline that one. Then I would respond to the $250 and either accept or counter.
It's important to remember that the VeRO list exists to prevent sellers from using brand names or trademarked terms to sell items not affiliated with those brands. For instance, a legitimate collaboration between Harley-Davidson and a coffee mug company can still be listed as a "[coffee cup company name] x Harley-Davidson coffee mug collab" or something similar. But if you have a mug with a generic motorcycle design, using the Harley name just to attract that audience would be a violation under VeRO rules. Is this 100% consistent? Not entirely-some companies, like Velcro, have been known to flag items they did produce, which can cause frustration. But most VeRO brands don’t do this, and you’re not at risk of account deletion for a first-time offense. You’d likely just receive an email asking you to remove the term, and you could appeal if there’s a legitimate reason for using it. Ultimately, though, it’s up to the brand to decide. So, keep listing, use brand names and trademarks sensibly, and don’t try to mislead buyers with unrelated trademarked terms-after all, eBay wants honest sellers doing honest business.
Hi Justin, Thank you for your insight and no nonsense approach to reselling. I'm still fairly new to reselling and decided 3 months in to upgrade to a basic store. Do you feel there's more exposure for stores vs. non store listing's?
THANK YOU for telling folks they don't need to wash things. I have an allergy to synthetic fragrances and it is so frustrating buying clothes online to then have to go through a process to get the "clean" scent out of them. I know they have good intentions but it's easier to let the buyer clean the item. Also some items need special handling and it could cause more wear to the item than necessary to wash it. If its gross or like actually smelly, then yeah. But otherwise, no. Also, putting something out in the sun for an afternoon goes a long way to make something smell fresh and clean again! Little rant over lol.
For negative feedback I look at it this way, if a customer sees 50 or 100 really positive comments and then sees one or two negative comments I would hope they would look past those knowing that it might just be a more difficult customer or a mistake in the mail or the shipping not that I'm selling erroneous product or bad services
Q: How do you price items that you've purchased in a lot? Do you spread out the cost of the lot evenly across all of the items within the lot regardless if some items are more valuable than others? Or do you do a proportion/weighed cost on each item? TYIA! Your channel has been immensely helpful.
Enjoying the video so far bout a fifth in(not alcohol) and mugs are totally my "I'm picking it up regardless" item as well if they're cool. I feel like the variety amongst mugs is greater than in any other catergory thatvincan think of and couple that w a love of coffee and well, you know....been wanting to throw a bunch of shelves up on the wall too to display all of the cool fancy things while they wait to sell..can dust em off whenever time to ship comes! My death pile just grew even larger today. Found some heatbat a new tonme thrift store and the half off vintage overhead projector should pay for the entire haul, mugs included! My death pile feels like the final form of that thing from Little Shop of Horrors...guess I better finish watching the video! Thanks for your tips and motivation!!
My grandparents lived in Wentzville Mo. We used to visit and my grandpa would take me to the A&W Root beer stand every day for lunch (in the late 70s). Nice little town. Recently I was going through the clothing policy and ebay does require us to "properly clean the items. And no used undies or socks.
On the question about how much to sell before going full time, make sure to specify that when you say it costs $10k a month, then you need to make $10k a month on eBay to shift, that is $10k PROFIT, NOT just sales. You'll need to make sure you make a scaled estimate of expenses for shipping materials, etc. You must also account for self-employment tax (i.e., YOU will be paying BOTH halves of your Social Security and Medicare, where your employer is currently paying half of each.) ADDITIONALLY, you must account for employer paid benefits like health insurance, vision, AD&D, dental, life insurance, and you will also lose any employer paid 401(k) retirement plan matching funds. You should account for that as well.)
I love your channel and your down to earth style. Thank you for all the good info! I found a pair of wool Paul Stuart men's trousers. I am not sure how to price them. I looked for comps on Ebay but they depend on the style and prices vary greatly, and I'm not sure how to read the style tag. I have searched the internet for info but can't find much. Any insights? Thanks!
Hi Justin- I’m surprised to find eBay allows sellers to simply lift images from other listings with the “Sell One Like This” function. I’ve been selling vintage t-shirts from my personal collection, and I’ve been very methodical about what to list and I space these listings out rather than flood the niche that looks for these shirts. I just shipped a 1997 live tour t shirt that band members silkscreened by hand, for a hefty amount but someone has copied my listing with my photo, except what they’re offering isn’t authentic or even vintage, but print-on-demand shirts. My photo isn’t even that flattering of the product and this other seller can’t possibly extract a print worthy image from my photo…. So if I can’t stop them from ripping off my product photos, is eBay likely to respond if I report the seller for bootlegging their product? It also really undermines the value of what I just sold, and if I was the buyer I might be tempted to return the authentic shirt for a refund and order the knockoff for a fraction of the price. What can I do?
Hey Justin...Less a question and more an idea. With your current twice weekly episode drops, it would be cool to have your Monday episode continue with the Top 10 sales & fails format. Then the Thursday or Friday episode be your top finds of the week (based on whatever criteria...just sharing some of the cool stuff you've picked up)
Hey Justin, thank you for all of teaching, I'm greatly appreciated. So would you say that we should list the same amount every day.? I do list every day, but sometimes I don't have enough for the whole week, so sometimes I have to list 5 one day 3 another just to be able to list everyday? What's your opinion on that? And thank you for your response
Hi Justin, just to let you know, eBay has a used clothing policy. You advised that it really doesn't matter if you wash the clothes or not unless they have some sort of odor or something (I'm paraphrasing). Anyway, that is incorrect. Per eBay policy, look up used clothing policies, and it will tell you that you must wash ALL used clothing before listing. You should also have a statement in your listing indicating that you did wash it per eBay standards. You might want to correct this with your followers, especially the newer ones. Thanks for all you do. Jp
Omgosh I have a soft spot for mugs too. Sold a carved face potter mug for $50, so sometimes it's worth it. Have to be picky. And with returns, they happen but rarely. With me, most often, they end up not actually returning the item anyway and ebay closes the case. Free no questions asked returns are the best.
Invariably, when I finally list death pile items, they sell fast for good money. Shame on me for not listing stuff. I try to only pick items where I can make at least $25. I do sell some on consignment, where if I can make $5, it's OK.With consignment, no pictures, no listings, no pictures, just drop it off and they handle selling the items. Now if you think eBays fees are high, wait until you see consignment fees. It's commonly 50/50 (50% goes to them). I do respond to all offers, even low ball offers. I just respond with what I will accept, and I call it "best and final offer" and I mean it. About half the time low ballers will step up to my offer, sometimes they just go away.
Justin - I heard you talk about getting a post removed or having a ding on your account because the item was recalled. Does that mean that we should research every item to see if there’s a recall on it? That may be a problem if you have lots of listings.
You mentioned it is not necessary to wash clothing that looks and smells good after purchasing. Ebay has a policy that all clothing needs to be noted in the description. The 20:11 item has been cleaned according to Ebay policy. My description reads: all used clothing has been laundered according to the eBay policy. I wash all purchased. It might look and smell fine now, but after being in a zipped bag, it could change.
I’ve heard you say to go ahead and list out of season items. Does that mean that ebay will put you back to the top of search as a new listing every month as they renew the item. I don’t want to be in no man’s land when the best season rolls around. Also, I read that ebay has certain listing errors that will cause an item to never show up in search. Can you get that error defined by Ebay so it can be corrected. It has happened to me a few times for items that have good sell through, clear photos and relentless editing to try to find the problem. 2 Years, no views, scroll forever. Thanks for your uniquely no-spin presentation!
I sold a shrink wrap machine, and shipped by FedEx freight. It wasn't a great experience. I used the buyers account, and didn't have a way to figure out the weight, I guessed 360lbs. Lucky I had a forklift at the house, because apparently it was 500 lbs. They re classed it and tried to charge the customer 1800 for the shipment, I don't know exactly how it resolved itself, since it wasn't my problem, not my account etc. I would try a different freight company if I needed again
I think its true that when you list more you get more views/sales... I took several days off and then listed 7 items and netted 3 sales(previously listed) in the same time that it took me to post those 7. So yes and no. Maybe I got lucky maybe I pleased the algorithm. who knows. I need to work my pile again lol its been a while since i listed. I just don't have the pile of inventory than some have to list as frequently.
Hey Justin! Love your videos. Another question here. Is it better to lower the price of a listing or send offers to interested buyers? I’ve read that sending offers boosts the visibility of those items on eBay. Is this true?
@1:41:24 lmao. I live in Helena part time and noticed someone got all the deals for retail arbitrage at the local Walmart. I am guessing its this viewer! Good to hear another Montanan viewer in here. Great info! Trying to do as the thumbnail says and kill my death pile.
Not every platform actually, will sync with the IRS, so you may have to manually calculate.. If you inherited a bunch of inventory ... It generally has no cost basis... so those revenues are inherited & calculated differently... as an inheritance
Love all your content think everything you do is great! By far one of my favorite people to watch. Just wanted to point out that I guess it is against eBay policy not to wash clothing and shoes I need to read all the policy info. I did not know this and really do not like it. I agree with the customer is going to wash it any way but not worth loseing my account. I stopped picking up a lot of shoes and wondered why they have not been selling I have good stuff but most were not cleaned first. I feel like this is actually misleading. I would like to know what they have been through. Thanks for all the great work! I do have a question about Pirate ship as I have just been robbed by ups. I no longer want to use them. Can you make a video about this possibly? Do you use it?
Thank you for all these wonderful videos. I am learning so much! Maybe this is answered later in the video, but does Flipwise add in the cost of itself to expenses?
1:49:15 Multiple offers on same item happens a lot to me, but it comes as just a note from eBay that there are multiple offers and that eBay will choose the highest one. In other words, I should counter and see who comes in highest.
Thank you, Justin! :: I sold my first item today, and dropped it off at the post office. (Can anyone tell me; I used the QR code for my post office. Does the buyer get automatically updated somehow with this, or do I need to manually send the tracking number. Thanks!)
Have you ever ran into an issue with bedbugs on an item or clothing? What are your precautions? From my understanding having bedbugs are a huge headache
Hi Justin, I'm just starting out and I had a question about consistency. For example, if my goal is 5 listings per day, would I want to post them one after the other or would I want to space them out through the day? Does it matter?
Hi Justin, I'm a new seller from Ireland and would love to be able to use Flipwise. Is there any news on when the app is going international? Thanks. I love the content
Stupid question-if you sent a 1099 for taxes, does that mean you need to become an actual business? Do I have to be an LLC etc. to claim reselling expenses on my taxes?
I've been getting more ramped up in the collectible business and as it's mostly a hobby, I was wondering if I'm not technically a "business" entity with a EIN tax ID etc...I have a business but it's not for "this" purpose....I've liquidated portions of my collection and the sales # is obviously pretty high. I'm wondering how I can reduce my tax burden just because I liquidated a portion of my collectibles ( and then bought different collectibles ). TLDR : Are deductibles only for business entities?
Do you ever sell locally maybe via Facebook marketplace or OfferUp? Especially if you had any bigger items may be more difficult to ship such as weights, or workout equipment equipmentAlso, do you ever plan to make Facebook marketplace work with flip wisetoo?
I do promotional ads. The standard usually but I do not see any ads and wondering how I can find them easier. If my stuff is not being used on ads then I’m stopping. It is really better to do promotional ads or not? Sales are so slow and I really don’t know if it’s me or not the right stuff in demand. I am very green at this and learning as I go. I watch you and others a lot and it does help but I am so confused at my listing correctly or why others sell large amounts daily and I’m lucky if my sells are lots monthly. Please help. Thank you for all your videos and information you share. Very helpful. Some of us older persons aren’t as media savvy as others. 😂
Any chance you might know a way I can get an idea which items I can buy for parts? Is it just by doing searches, or do you know of a resource where, for example, someone has complied a list of kitchen appliances that are always worth picking up?
I’m not sure if you will see this or not but how do I organize my stuff so I know where I put it? I’ve already had panic moments I can’t find the product and I don’t want to have to tell someone I can’t find it. Thank you
Hi my background was software engineer. I worked closely with the testing team to test the application that we built. I would love to take part in the your beta phase.
On the four items with calculated shipping, I've had this happen but ebay always combines the weight of the four and often OVER-charges the buyer so I end up giving a refund. This seller should look at their shipping settings. I'm not expert enough to know off the top what to check, but I'm betting that something in their settings did this.
To the question about mentoring. I personally would resist that because of the number of grifters who came out of the woodwork to train people to sell on Amazon, and FLOODED Amazon with cheap Chinese made crap from Alibaba and Temu that has in large part displaced quality, name brand products. Amazon responded by making it extremely difficult for 3rd party sellers EXCEPT FOR somehow sellers located in China. I stopped selling on Amazon in 2021-2022 for that reason.
A did a quick benefit analysis of store cost strictly limited to insertion fee costs. (why yes, I am an Analyst 💁🏼) Ballparked, the basic store that allows up to 1k free insertions (vs 250) is $22/mth with $25/qtr in shipping swag. If you make good use of that swag and buy items you would use in your business anyway, your cost reduced to ~$14/mth. So, your break even in additional insertions over 250 @ 0.30 each is around 47/mth. (74/mth if you don't use your free swag) Again, sloppy ballparking all over the place here. (as ya do) So anyone at ~300/mth listings/relistings is breaking even just based on insertion fees. That feels like an easy decision even if you're not over 300 because that's what, one low sale a month? Plus, there are a lot of other cool benefits to having a store.

Can anyone confirm which video this topic was covered in? Very interested! Thanks!
There is actual a policy within eBay that states clothes are to be laundered per the manufacturer recommendation before sale
Good catch. I offered up a correction on that here: th-cam.com/video/jJ7TvwtrY7Q/w-d-xo.html
@dianaeden6607 totally agree! I have scented dryer sheets for eBay (only). I'll do a 20 minute steam refresh in my dryer if it's not dirty.

Hell yeah LOVE a long video for a listing night
Killed it. It's all digital now. Now listing and scheduling listings. Damn this room is alot cleaner!
Was not expecting a 3 hour video today. Thanks Justin
3 hours! Yes! I’m going to save this to watch later as I list.

Good catch. I offered up a correction on that here: th-cam.com/video/jJ7TvwtrY7Q/w-d-xo.html
I just found your channel. You're great at communicating your thoughts clearly and concisely. I will have to check out all your vids now, but one on your theories of ebay's listing order algorithm would be great. That's an interesting and useful topic for resellers. Thank you I got a lot out of watching this.

I just started researching eBay yesterday. This was an AMAZING way to educate and catch up
Hey Justin - I’ve just received another extra charge from UPS for “Additional Handling” for a longer item (this time a baseball bat - 35”) - an extra $12.95 on top of the $9.99 shipping.
Wow, is this true for all carriers? That’s cool
Thank you for your channel and all of your straight forward advice. I like to listen to your content in the background while I list haha
Yes, would appreciate a video about listing fees after the 250 free, store benefits. Thank you... watched the whole video while taking pictures. Just realized how slow I am in my process. 🤦🏻♀️
Great content I listened to the whole thing do I get an award ? Ps I like your straight talk!

Thank you Justin for your time and knowledge. Your giving is generous.🌼
(1) You can pick and choose among the offers
(2) If it's an auction and somebody places a bid before you take action on offers, all of the offers are auto-declined.
Thx Jason. Just found ur channel. Thx for helping us get better at selling
You're welcome, Bill.
@@justinresells 😂😂
Man, time stamping the questions and everything is awesome and greatly appreciated. New sub here and Thank you!!
Thanks for the great advice. You remind me of Al from the tv show tool Time!🤪
Thank you for posting this video! Very helpful advice!
Just a little note about watchers. Sometimes watchers could just be other sellers keeping an eye on like items.
Love your channel & love this long format! Thanks!
I always thought retro meant "imitating vintage." Great video - thank you!

You must also account for self-employment tax (i.e., YOU will be paying BOTH halves of your Social Security and Medicare, where your employer is currently paying half of each.)
ADDITIONALLY, you must account for employer paid benefits like health insurance, vision, AD&D, dental, life insurance, and you will also lose any employer paid 401(k) retirement plan matching funds.
Thanks!
That first base second base joke got me. Lol 😂😂 made me subscribe 🎉
Then the Thursday or Friday episode be your top finds of the week (based on whatever criteria...just sharing some of the cool stuff you've picked up)
not a bad idea; will consider it!
This is great info! Thanks for sharing!

Jp
Good catch. I offered up a correction on that here: th-cam.com/video/jJ7TvwtrY7Q/w-d-xo.html
Good catch. I offered up a correction on that here: th-cam.com/video/jJ7TvwtrY7Q/w-d-xo.html
Perfect length video for me to listen to while I list today. Thanks Justin!
Thanks for your uniquely no-spin
presentation!
Hi Justin, the advice given on washing the clothing is a direct violation of eBays terms and services. All clothing must be washed before being listed
Good catch. I offered up a correction on that here: th-cam.com/video/jJ7TvwtrY7Q/w-d-xo.html
The only non-payment i deal with is on offers. Its annoying and ebay could speed up their fix, but not the end of the world.

(why yes, I am an Analyst 💁🏼)
Ballparked, the basic store that allows up to 1k free insertions (vs 250) is $22/mth with $25/qtr in shipping swag.
If you make good use of that swag and buy items you would use in your business anyway, your cost reduced to ~$14/mth.
So, your break even in additional insertions over 250 @ 0.30 each is around 47/mth. (74/mth if you don't use your free swag)
Again, sloppy ballparking all over the place here. (as ya do)
So anyone at ~300/mth listings/relistings is breaking even just based on insertion fees.
That feels like an easy decision even if you're not over 300 because that's what, one low sale a month? Plus, there are a lot of other cool benefits to having a store.
This was a super helpful post for me. It confirmed the logic of a lot of my current processes and gave me some good ideas for moving forward.
THANKS!
