First reason is because I didn't wanna deal with having to worry about emissions. Besides that, I believe a downpipe upgrade can be detrimental to these base model stock rods, since the turbo is capable of spooling up very quick even with the stock downpipe, and too much torque too soon can definitely make it easier to break something. From the testing I've seen, the front pipe helps the top end carry a little better, and gives a small bump in torque in the midrange to top end. Nothing too significant though. Volume may have gotten a little louder, but nothing super noticeable.
@@GoDsSoN770 Really interesting, i have read the L15BA (hatch) got worst connecting rods then the L15B7 somewhere on civicx, basically the hatch connecting rods have lesser hardness making them more prone to bending. What a bummer for fk7 owners. I was planning on getting a catted dp at one point but i might give up on that idea. Thank you for your input very much appreciated.

Time slip was a blur. What did you run?
1st run was 14.009 @ 106.55 mph, 2nd run was 13.982 @ 104.82 mph.
