Dude was honestly in my top 3 favorite performances of the night. Of all the bands I thought might blow out the speakers, I didn’t expect it to be Danny fucking Elfman. The top leftmost speakers from Red Stage blew and started rattling around halfway through his set, then were quieter/scuzzy the rest of the night
What were the other 2 favorites of the night? Any sets you seen that sucked?
@@unknownrocksoldier5221 for favorites? I’d say definitely Paleface Swiss and Slipknot. The crowd was completely insane for both, and I had a wild time. For worst? I’d have to say probably Ice Nine Kills. I just can’t stand them lol

you could feel his entire set vibrating throughout your body at the most perfect moments. i am so glad to have seen him live at least once.
seeing him with tattoos makes so much sense. he looks like hed be a metal head and i like him even more than i did before. i wish i could have gone to this, just for him
He does solo shows sometimes in Socal, depending on his schedule. Usually in the autumn. Maybe he will this year, with his full set, and you'll get to catch it!

The sound quality (in person) was fantastic.. And oh that bass.... My organs felt that! It was a fantastic set and I think really changed the minds of a lot of people in attendance who didn't know about him or had doubts.

He’s been playing them for awhile now. It’s a nice treat, considering how many years he seemed to distance himself from his old band. I think the pandemic reawakened his rockstar side.

Danny Elfman/Oingo Boingo was in the 80s one of the most creative Acts of the US-New-Wave-Bands with Devo, Wall of Voodoo, B-52s and The Talking Heads. But now he is THE creative Master with new Movie-Soundtracks and innovative and crazy Music like "Big Mess". Elfman develops new Sounds instead of 100% 80s-Repetition like the other bands of that time. Love the combination of Soundtracks and Oingo Boingo Songs! My Favorite Albums were Good for your soul - and the Masterpiece: Nothing to fear! Reptiles & Samurai could only work like Insects! Hope to see Elfman live! Come to Germany!!

@@Itsjustliketheweather Exactly! The last time Boingo performed Forbidden Zone was the second to last concert on the farewell tour! We need a remaster. But at the same time, songs like Forbidden Zone and Cinderella Undercover must make Danny cringe at his earlier work 😭
@@joyboy1110 I don't think he cringes. He knows he's come a long way, I think he might consider them more primitive maybe. But he's got a good relationship with his brother and I'd hope it just has a special place in his heart cause of that.
