Jury Rig? That a court reference or something? Not Gerry Rig right? From WW2 from the Germans(Gerrys) rigging their equipment to work for them at the end of the war due to limited supplies. We brought the term back with us after winning.
The term "Jury Rig" or "Jury Rigging" is much older than WW2. It originates from sail powered boats/ships, making temporary makeshift running repairs with only the tools and materials on board. Not to be confused with "Jerry Rigging" the WW2 term which references things built unsubstantially of bad materials. Although, I actually got the idea for the Jury Rig Garage name from the Fallout NV perk
@JuryRigGarage Dude....I f'n love learning new ish. Awesome. I just found your channel, and your content is fantastic btw. Looking to see much more going forward.
Charlie Kirk's brother. LOL.The 3800.superchareged SSEI was a nice ride..I sold a few of them at Daytona Pontiac/ GMC..They were fast &"the interior was plush with all the seat options & gouges on windshield piller..Nice leather to.
Bro take the hood off no intercooler set up or nothing. Just turned the cold air filter straight up dropped the temp from over 110 to 75 its legal to roll with no hood in my state so why not👌👌✌✌ plus the hp on my gtp went from 343 to 365 that's just on my gauge though aem aeroforce isnt the most accurate full dyno tune soon
I just bought a 1997 pontiac bonneville 40 year anniversary 80 k miles no codes just needs a accompressor keep up the good work maybe some lucas stop slip for your hard shifting new trans fluid is too thin
switch to a 3.4 pulley and stick a screw thru the boost bypass valve and if u build alot of boost then u need a new bypass censor that happened to my grand prix gtp now she makes full boost
Ngl what kinda exhaust you running. I had a 2000 Bonneville SE with some custom parts from factory but I just bought an 2003 SSEi and we might engine swap and ngl that exhaust note is really nice sounding for what it is. I'm really curious to know
The 3800 engine is known for being incredibly reliable and bulletproof. The 4T65e transmissions are fairly reliable as long as you keep the motor stock. Once you start modifying the engine, the transmission's reliability goes down
I usually add rtv on the coolant elbow orings just for peace of mind. Glue that biatch in there. Also i know what you mean about that bolt where the hose meets the tensioner. What a dumb design
It’s the super charger crying 😭

@@danielfrey9942 almost perfect condition

Yeah I think our plan is to pin the bypass valve shut for testing and see what boost it makes.
Don’t know much about the supercharged engine but I have my LS4 from my GXP I’m rebuilding
That’s awesome, I totally want to do a LS4 fiero someday
@@JuryRigGaragethe ls4 can actually only be used in a fwd layout
You need to give that engine some cold 🥶 air or a ice 🧊 transmission cooler as well
Wonder about the brand and size wheels on this pontiac..
They're 13-14 GT500 wheels with 275/40/18 achilles ATR sport 2 tires.

Thanks! We have speed daddy headers, stock cat, stock muffler delete and a magnaflow muffler I believe
@@JuryRigGarage sweet I'll definitely keep note of this!
is this a reliable car stock? would you recommend it? I'm looking at an 03 model year for 900, needs transmission work

Not sure what year your car is, but I may have a trans you might be interested in.
Sure! Hit us up on Instagram @jury_rig_garage and we can talk
@@JuryRigGarage I don't Instagram. Sorry
Where did you find your gauge pod 4 the a-pilliar
It's a glowshift universal pod holder we installed in this video: th-cam.com/video/FbuR5Br0DEo/w-d-xo.html
What year Northstar throttle body ?
I'm building one too.
What wheels are you guys running on it? I'm sure it was mentioned in a previous video. I just wanted to know though.
These are 13-14 GT500 wheels
@@JuryRigGarage did you get them re-drilled or are you running adaptors?
wondering the same thing.
4t65e says reeeeeee
😂

Take care of trans before tune.
