- 'Fingerbib' is a track from my album APHEXionS (WERF Records -2021-)
On this album I play around the music of Aphex Twin.
The album APHEXionS is the first of the « Ode Session » series.
Being solo or not, this project is a pretext for exploration and amusement.
A way to play.
The goal :
Pick an artist per album to use his musical universe as a base and let go my inspiration on it.
The idea is to express myself through an artistic field that is well anchored and that is not mine to only take what I want on it, even if it means only keeping the roots.
To take a lot of freedom from a big impulse.

lmfao, the ad I got was for some snack and the entire ad was like 7 seconds with 2 chips like crunches after each other, then this started. it was like the noise in the beginning of the original!
so i'll need to add this ad before that tune in the album then 😉
APhex Twin's creations are so utterly strange and beautiful. Your covers are respectful to his work, while also being uniquely your own. Would love to hear your interpretations of, say, Rhubarb or jynweythek ylow.
Thanks! I will probably do an other album with Aphex Twin's work and actually #3 rhubarb just didn't made the cut for the first album but maybe it will be there for the second ;) there's a real possibility anyway.

Not yet but I know there is some people interested and i plan on doing a website because I actually made a lot of transcription of Aphex Twin's work (that's actually what led to me doing some improvisations on his music) and i will put all of them on a website at some point but i need time to do that and for now i don't have it but i really want to do it so hopefully for this summer let's say. I'll let you know promise 👍
