Thanks mate, the little tips like removing the air box, removing the wheel next to the alternator bolt, loosening the second alternator bolt plate... all saved me hours trying to figure them out myself.
@oliverthemechanic8532 I looked you up on TH-cam as my 2013 Hilux lost all power widows/indicators/dash lights/AC & fan/clock/but headlights are working & the ABS indicator has come up on the dash/had a guy out yesterday & he said the alternator is not charging at all & recommended me not to drive it & get it towed to an auto electrician which I,ll organise tomorrow i suppose. 🙂👍👍

Hello boss. Very nice video. Very informative and helpful. Just wanting to ask, my battery is not getting enough charge from alternator, ranging from 12v - 12.6v while engine running. I tried ur tricks about removing the negative battery if the alternator is bad or not, the engine is still running after taking negative off. Could it be bad battery? Any small advices would be much appreciated boss. Cheers mate 👍🏽
habang uma andar try mo lagyan ng load aircon on, headlights high beam on, tapos tangalin mo negative pag na matay sya alternator 😉 mahina kasi yong 12.6 pag uma andar dapat 13.6 higher

Ginawa ko sinabi mo habang umaandar ung sasakyan, nilagyan ko ng load headlight high beam aircon radio, tas tinaggal ang negative, patay agad. Alternator talaga no? Pero e pa check ko ung battery bukas sa supercheap kung okay ba or papalitan na. Salamat ulit sa tulong boss. Praise the Lord! 🙏🏽
My hilux is making similar noise.. i changrd idler pulley and tensioner pulley, the squeek has definatley gone quiter but i can still hear a lil squeek.. i also changed the drive belt
good video but not enough description, i cant see what bolts you loosened then what you did to take the belt off. I tried doing it but no idea what you did with bolts on pulleys and how you put on and take off belt to fit alternator
@@denijordanoski7979 call a mechanic mate it’s better , don’t push yourself if you can’t do it worse scenario you will injured yourself or damage the car
@ nah stuff that figured out what i needed to do. hard to explain in the comments bit to explain. not in a position to get a mechanic so did it myself, all good, used the video for guide and the fuel filter aswell. thanks 👍🏼
