The AU version is the latest(different from Singapore/China ver), the difference and updates are explained on the sales page. The semi-fire delayed 5:24, an easy adjustment for that is to move the pusher detection screw a small notch backwards. this thing was literally demoralising to play against. literally anyone out in the open was instantly killed. the accuracy is unbelievable and the 300fps just makes it that much more intense.... in saying all that, i now want one.
So great that AEGs have returned. What we need most is some Dart Zone recognition in the form of a pro aeg, and maybe even some other aeg blasters after the pro aeg hopefully succeeds. I say dart zone because Nerf hasn’t done them in ages and their quality just isn’t reliable enough for something like an AEG
@@jakev1341 definitely, but the stampede retail was 70 dollars and can be modded for 170 FPS pretty easily, so the price could do with being slightly lower
10:46 watching at .25x speed, I saw a 212 before the 226. Also, I wonder if it will be coming to the American market at all. EDIT: The 212 is briefly visible at normal speed.
The shorter barrel 2.0 Plus was an earlier prototype and didn't actually have the FCU for semi auto in it. One slip of the trigger on full auto at 7rps and you end up firing two shots.
Wow I remember doing simple mods to some stock nerf guns 8or 9 yrs ago but in the last few years have gotten into gelball which I absolutely love. It fixed the main issue I had with Nerf which is being a bit of a gun nut, going to a solid metal replica of real rifles and gas powered blow back pistols that work pretty much like the genuine thing compared to what seemed like a plastic toy really took me to a place I love because I found it so immersive due to the realism. Having said that, I’m not here to say gelball is better than nerf, I understand Nerf has its positives like the accuracy of the darts and being more free to play with them without scaring the hell out of people and maybe getting a visit by the police if you are stupid enough to not respect the fact that they look like real firearms…. Just had to comment and say how impressed I am with the consistency of the muzzle velocity of this thing! These Nerf guns have humbled me with pure respect in regards to performance. The other great thing about special made Nerf darts to gels is that you actually get the chance to simulate all of the pros of rifling due to the fact that you have the ability to to induce gyroscopic spin on them which makes them so accurate! Plus a 7mm gelball can start to hurt a little around 300 fps and those darts are much heavier so I can only image the amount of Kinetic energy they are actually carrying to the point of impact! I bet you know when you’re hit! 😂 Way to go guys! Very impressive 😊
Nerf has always leaned toward the toy-like appearance mostly due to the prevalence of public games. Here we play at a private field so if you wanted to you could get black hardware for one of these like a gel ball handguard, etc. if you wanted a more realistic look. The Milsig M79 HPA Nerf blaster already has the appearance of an M4 and people then paint those black or tan/camo and we have about 8 players using those regularly at the private field. A 1gram Nerf dart at 300fps feels a lot different than a 0.2gram gel ball at the same. As you could probably tell from the gameplay footage. ;)
Hot Damn I do so miss playing GBB tagsports. Just wish I lived somewhere that would treat us as adults instead of children. To help ease the pain of having to get rid of the GBB stuff, so I Samuel above went back to my Nerf modding roots with a full metal internal upgrade longshot. But now amongst my foam flingers I do have a Lynx (OG Orion Blasters Ver) that hits up to 280FPS on a good day. Inside of 2-3 metres I am not sure I would wanna hit anyone/get hit by this thing. Was running some back of envelope numbers on possible damage at that range and was slightly horrified. Definitely lose an eye area, and hit in wrong spot I could se it being lethal. And yet...perfectly legal here. Unlike my GBBs
Hey Brad! Thinking of getting this blaster, how would you compare the overall durability of AEG blasters compared to springers? Is it worth it in the long run as I've heard AEGs are more prone to breakage, which makes sense since there are more moving parts.
Do you know if he plans on retailing the javelin, it's a bolt action version of this? These designs are revolutionary. Now if only Milsig could make a 2.0 that would work as intended...
Full auto the rate of fire is 7rps or 12rps so the response time on semi should match that. As fast as you can release and pull the trigger, but not exceeding the full auto rof.
Reliability is a big one, also the barrel being stationary gives this an accuracy advantage too. Finally, this fires and then cycles, while the Wasp cycles and then fires, so zero latency with the Storm.

I got mine from frontline foam and the rate of fire is incredibly slow in comparison to yours. My battery is an 11.1v. Would the rate change with an 14.8v?
did you experience any darts getting lower performance when firing in full auto? that has been a complaint of a lot of storm ver .v (aka 1.0, aka 2022) model owners
I imagine that is because of the pusher not staying closed for the entire duration of the dart firing. I think the FCU in this model solves that problem but I didn't fire it a whole lot on full auto. I didn't have a need for full auto and it would be absolutely mean to use it.

The version of this from China with their stock spring will shoot around 150fps, but generally for 150fps you would be fine with a flywheel blaster given the close range distances.
There is 2 ways to achieve this. Maybe I will show that through a video in May as well. A shorter barrel will help along with removal of a particular screw.

this gun has a lot of potential aolthough i feel that FOUR HUNDRED FIFTEY DOLLARS is a bit MUCH for a TOY GUN. i mean hell i think HALF that is high priced...this gun might as well be made of PURE SILVER i love it tho and i want one, and im gonna try to steal the design and make a cheaper version, the nerf assault rifle class needs some strength it cant just be flywheel smgs this gun has real potential to spark a revolution of nerf gun classes, but GOD DAM ITS TOO MUCH MONEY
I know I'm gonna get crapped on for this but I feel like AEBs should be banned from regular games where everyone else is using flywheels and normal springers. For game balance sake I can see how a lot of players would get annoyed at the one guy on the other team running something like this, at least in a public setting where you're not just playing with friends who agreed to you using it ahead of time
Just to be clear I don't have a problem with people running these in games dedicated to AEBs but in games where people are running things like the trion, nexus and harrier it's just no competition
@@bigdapramirez6157 AEGs and HPA are definitely over powered compared to manual springers and flywheel blasters. While I can see the push back from flywheelers since it basically renders them irrelevant due to the better accuracy, manual springers I think still have their place. Especially if the AEG users stick to semi auto.

Massive step forward for nerf

I would call it foam flinging or foam blasting, but yeah.
The amount of overengineering for a nerf blaster is absolutely mind blowing. This is the equvalent of building an airplane to win a bicycle race.
AEGs currently capped at 200fps for competitive games. That CQB version still hitting over. Excited to see where the hobby is going
I think the standard 2.0 with short barrel may be under 200fps slightly. Probably around 190fps.
It just keeps getting better and better. Certainly a long way from the days of modified Longshots.
Same kind of performance, but no need to manually prime the blaster every shot. It's a true game changer.

This particular one is pretty fool proof, at worst you could need to replace a fuse if something goes horribly wrong with it, which is easy to swap.

There is a screw you can remove at the front of the plunger tube that adds an air leak if you need 150fps from the standard version

What? You still have to aim and position yourself, so there are definitely some skills involved there
