Could that pin or setscrew throw off the balance enough to affect your times? I noticed that the spokes on that gear aren't symetrical, so adding a counter weight, you can't go exactly 180 degrees from the other one. But maybe it's not heavy enough to unbalance it enough to affect times?
@@ToyotaGuy1971 I don't post times but this car has gone 2.90's on a real timing system not a GNSS on the old setup. It's quite a bit faster now but I haven't had a chance to run it at full power on the track. I mostly use this car in our local bracket racing class so I keep it turned down for consistency.

I also run mst but i used the m chassis instead of the ff, what are the differences between them? Also what tires would you recommend

That pin weights nothing not enough to cause any issues. I've been running mine and it's been fine

I ran the car a few times after the diff mod and no issues. Best pass on real tree was 2.89@56 rubber tire
