@@viveksrks I'll suggest you try to stretch your budget for the v variant, sv loses out on necessary and defining features that the city stands for. Sv is probably kept in the market for gvt vehicle purposes.
Exactly the same view.... I narrowly escaped the temptation of VIRTUS... which is the best looking sedan IMHO.... But nobody offers a complete package as honda city.... quality durability reliability cost of ownership ... peace of ownership.... looks.... etc.. I am not a fond of 50" screens and never-ending sunroofs. I just want the basics right. i-vtech is dope... HONDA with all its authority puts this i-vtech badge. Every bit of it is earned. I have owned 2007 model civic for 15 years and will own this CITY for years to come. I prefer 4Gs look to this 5G CITY. I OWN 5G V PETROL.
I am using honda accord 247000 kms on it in canada runs like a beast not much maintenance needed just doing oil change after 10k 🎉

I read almost every comment..and i understood one thing the people who own a Honda don't even have a complaint even after the cost of the spare parts but still most of them are sticking on its reliability.. only very few have complaints .. i am a person who lives in Kerala , i observed one thing most of the successful engeneers use fortuner or Innova while most of the doctors use Honda City..the most reliable and realistic ones ..i also wanted to buy a Honda one day

Honda City is really the best sedan out there. it's comfortable, fast, and reliable, and the overall driving quality is just top-notch. The only issue is of the ground clearance.

I have Verna 2015 model still best car my uncle was having city 2017 but still Verna makes me feel that I have performance oriented car but I can't feel the same in city but both cars are good I am very much happy with my Verna it has lower maintenance cost than City ❤

@@harshitmehta96 nope. I have driven all over south India. Unless we drive like a maniac, no issues. Sedans do need a little bit of extra care when driving. But this generation is much better than previous generation in handling the rough
@@bobbyisac I have booked the same V variant. But yesterday I met with an owner of city and he was like brother don't buy it as it will going to scrub on every bump. According to him this car is not meant to go to rural India.
@@harshitmehta96 depends on the place and the driver I guess. I have taken this to hill stations and all sorts of terrain like Kodaikanal, Gandikota, Yercaud etc.
One thing, there is a plastic engine protection cover underneath that scraps sometimes. May be that’s what your friend is mentioning. But that’s okay since it’s plastic and can be easily replaced. costs about 3000. but in my 40000 KM with the car, I did not need to replace it yet
@@harshitmehta96 most people mistake the engine protection cover scraping the bottom. The whole purpose of that is to protect the engine. So no problems.
Again, you need to drive a bit gently. That’s the whole swag of sedans

@@motoroctane I heard most of the people saying the company's spares are costly. A friend of mine purchased a Honda Amaze diesel from Delhi and it's spares are too expensive to get. But thankfully the vehicle is damn reliable.

What abt low mileage and high maintenance costs.
As an owner of not one but two,Jazz and 2010 City Ivtec, I can say that honda service has deteriorated in India. It’s no longer cheap and the service centre try every scam to increase the bill. And the ivtec in 2010 City was gem, in Jazz it sucks! Even though I am tempted to go for new city/ elevate, I won’t cause of the pathetic service centre
