In case you didn't realise, Inarizaki lost in the same way that Karasuno lost to Aoba Josai in the 1st season. The freak quick being blocked. Especially the lines "this position, this timing, this angle" was repeated almost exactly. It was a great callback that shows the development that Hinata and Kageyama has made!
I always took the final ball drop being showcased through Kita' pov is because he's the only one who could've followed through the twins quick and be positioned for something like that block, so he would've been there to save the ball if he was on the court
I'm not sure why, but for some reason what gets me every time is Yahaba's emotion after Tsukki/Daiki's save, pounding his fist on the desk. Beautiful moment.
you knocking back your set up multiple times was really funny lol, yeah so animated. haikyuu thrives on every single point that was made from the start, that's why as it goes forward it becomes hyper and hyper, like everything clicks into place with call backs and as it builds up there's more call back thus, more hype. I'm not ready to finish haikyuu series with you, I would support if I could honestly, but well... sadly... but I'm looking forward to more reactions on youtube and I'd watch the ones I'm familiar with definitely.
The Speed is a Curse sequence is one of my favorite moments in Haikyuu. As soon as Ukai notices that they are going way too fast, we see as the players are too focused on the match to hear him. We then get a close shot of Aran swinging his arms back to jump up for a spike and just as the players' views have become narrow, so do ours as a dark border begins to close in, making it harder to see, making everything feel claustrophobic and choking us. As things keep going faster and faster, the darkness keeps creeping towards the center of the screen, until Hinata, our little sun boy, gets the first touch and everything lights up. The darkness washes away as the players get to breathe and what follows afterwards is the end of an intense rally where the Miya Twins lose just in the way that Karasuno lost in season 1. The scene had some parts of impressive animation and some that weren't as good, but the usage darkness and light to put us in the minds of the players makes this imo one of my fav moments in the whole show
Tsukki believing Hibata receiving, Hinata's "Let's take it easy" receive, last Hinata and Kageyama blocking together... so many things in one episode! The OST was so perfect. I love that the one explained the last block by Hinata and Kageyama was Tukki. Also other school members saying "Go back! Go back!" makes me cry everytime.😢
Reactions like yours are why I watch these! You cover so much and pick up so many details, thanks for including them in your TH-cam cut versions ❤ its been fun to watch
"Everyone, hold on to something!" - was exactly my reaction to this episode😂 Thank you for your reaction❤ Would like to recomend to you "Run with the wind", i think you would not only enjoy this show, but actually understand it, because you pay attention to detail.
Im sad it's almost over😢 watching your haikyuu reactions was my weekly routine for the last 2 years?? omg, i remember starting to watch with you literally in the s01 ep02 🥲
I hope you can react to Run With The Wind. Its a sport anime animated by the same studio of Haikyu and also have the same soundtrack composer. Super motivational and emotional show just like Haikyu. Only one season and so many to discuss and amazing characters. Try to watch the trailer at least. Im pretty sure that you gonna love it.
that moment when tsuki trusted hinata with his receiving skill, his full inner monologue in the manga was "if i could block him right here, i bet the whole team would go crazy. but i can't, so you better be there. i apologize, hinata. from now on, i will never use the word "fluke" in reference to you again".
I thought the "fluke" inference comment was from the Johzenji coach? He was the character who had the "fluke turning to intuition" topic attached to. His face was also in the panel when that line was mentioned.
Honestly, the amount of times I rewatched this episode and ep 22 after they aired - theyre so goooood Its also very sad to be getting caught up, but i think you'd enjoy the manga! They haven't even animated by all time favorite arc or moment yet (and honestly im not if they'll do proper justice to it in the movies) And like everyone else, definitely recommend you check out Run with the Wind for your next sport anime. Definitely my fave right below Haikyuu. Its very character focused and wraps up really well in only one season (and is also one of the few college sports anime out there), i think itd be right up your alley!
Losing my breath AAAAAAAHHHHHHH 🔥🔥 No one knew better than Hinata and Kageyama how even a second makes the difference. The first time they lost to Seijoh, it was because of a block, but our guys learned and grew!!! and the ball going out in Kita-san pov just *chef kiss, he could have got it up and no one can't deny it. This episode full of paid offs from the things we practiced in the start of the season. Epic Battle both teams and so proud of our crows
Been enjoying your Haikyuu reactions. If you ever want to consider reacting to other Sports anime I might suggest the following, unfortunately as good as these series are they don't have huge followings. Run with the Wind (Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru)-produced by the same team that did Haikyuu, including the OST composer, short 23 episode series, has hype and emotional moments Ace of the Diamond (long series with multiple seasons, 178 episodes) slow burn but pay off is so good. Focuses on character development through the sport. Ao Ashi, only one season, still hoping for more. It unfortunately, got lost in the Blue Lock Hype as they both aired during the same season
I liked Blue Lock for its insanely new approach they took in writing from a sports genre..! (More than the animation) But Ao Ashi for me.. felt like the better show.. it had better writing and had grounded characters..!
Speed is Shoyo and Kageyama's weapon so it made sense i guess that they would know their own weapon's pros and cons so it was perfect that those 2 were the one to block that last shot
As insane as it sounds, this is not yet peak. I don't know how Fuurudate-sensei managed to write fresh ways to end every arc... but it just gets better than this. I sincerely hope, begging on my knees hoping, that the movies will give the next parts justice. S4 went wobbly with the pandemic and the choice to lower quality during non-hype moments, but the story and hype pulled through in the latter half of Inarizaki match. I hope the movies end satisfactorily as well.
What a great reaction series this has been ! Loved your takes all along, and especially your perception, you see most callbacks and why scenes matter than most reactors I've seen, it's sometimes almost like discussing Haikyuu with someone who already knows it ! Can't wait to watch the last episode, it sure will be nostalgic to part ways (not that I'm leaving, there's HxH, Solo Levelling and hopefully others !) with this series ! If I may, I think I remember a post asking if you should react to some non-anime series, and I will call-back to my answer from then : I think you should react to Ted Lasso. It's an insanely good and criminally underrated/under the radar show, that I think matches so well your reaction style. Sports show with a huge focus on the people, the psychological and personnal development of the individuals, and so emotional and feel-good at the same time !

I really loved how you just put all together with Tsukki and Hinata, not many people noticed that deep into that scene.
I always took the final ball drop being showcased through Kita' pov is because he's the only one who could've followed through the twins quick and be positioned for something like that block, so he would've been there to save the ball if he was on the court
OUCH. 😬😢
@@CastSenpai indeed
The most hype episode? Sadly, we only have one more 🥲
Seeing calm and collected Cast going bananas it's always a delight
I'm not sure why, but for some reason what gets me every time is Yahaba's emotion after Tsukki/Daiki's save, pounding his fist on the desk. Beautiful moment.
hes the perfect embodient of all of our reactions to this match

17:14 when you laid back all relaxed after we got confirmation that the game's finally over 😂 my exact reaction

As amazing as this series is. It’s 10x better when you realize Kageyama is just as much an MC as Hinata is
Oh man, this was one of the best reactions. I was on the edge of my seat all over again thanks to you. What a ride

Thank you for the Haikyuu reactions🙌 best reaction vids I’ve seen throughout the YT recommendations…Enjoyed it, next stop Hunter x Hunter hehe…
Are gonna react to the Haikyuu movie trailer?
Probably just the movie itself!
Now it's time to read the manga. If you think s4 is good, the manga is 10 times better.
