Wow. So many shakers. I was lucky with one bite one nice keeper from yesterday. Safe fishing and tight line. I would love you to show me surf fishing someday.
I just ordered the autopilot 120. What kind of wet pants and tops do you wear out in the water? I have a dry suit already, but want to go lighter on warmer days in Seattle.
I know opinions are different and results are different for everyone but my 2 largest halibut have been in December 27” on live Jack Smelt off a pier and January 29” of the Jack Smelt color Lucky Craft 115 casting from shore. I know your PB’s are way bigger but here in SoCal that’s been my results. My theory is they are fattening up for the spawn. Of course I catch more in the warmer months but appreciate all your videos and advice on fishing! 🤙🏼🎣 tight lines
@@DieHardFishing That’s true, but with a swift current and swells it could pose an issue getting it again. Or for some crazy reason, it semi sinks and visually you cannot see it. Just saying 🤷🏻♂️
I always thought it was the old town like I have, but I think it's the hat🤣, it's crazy weather in the east but the perch are starting to run,(good sign). Fish on brother 💪. The big ones are what we call diggers, but it's the same fisherman language.
I've seen videos of people catching absolute massive human sized halibut but you're never caught anything close to that size. Is it a different species or are they just smaller in the San Francisco area?
Also called shakers because when you de-hook them you shake the fish off your hook with the de-hooker. How many times do you think you're caught the same fish over again. Maybe he's just following you around. 🤣
Dude you can't possibly eat all the fish u catch..one video u caught and kept like 3 or 4 in the same day..bro just keep one but your greed will get u one day..
All the halibut caught were males (hence the title of this vid) 😁
how do you know that
Do you look for sand areas only or in-between reefs? Thanks.
Have used many different brands of reels over the last 40 years. This is the one I keep coming back to. Silky smooth casting and retrieve.
We are having a run of shakers down here in SoCal, too. But, nice to catch some. And, there's a keeper out there somewhere!
that is good news for the future!
Nice! Hoping to get out there in the next week or two. Glad to see you’re catching! Now for the keepers and monsters!
Wow. So many shakers. I was lucky with one bite one nice keeper from yesterday. Safe fishing and tight line. I would love you to show me surf fishing someday.
Really enjoy your videos. You are fishing everywhere .
Nothing to put on the stringer, but still a fun day of fishing. Thanks for the video. 👍
You got that right! The future is bright!
How have I never seen your videos before?! This is awesome man! I got my binge for tonight!
Welcome aboard!
That fish at around 19:10 mark of video started to get flipping mad as he didn't get that bait to eat as saw it float off in the water.
The golden rule in kayak fishing. If you make your hands busy, you catch a fish. The fish some how know!
works every time!
Adam, nice day of fishing. The ocean was so calm!!
Make some spinning sleeves. Make some sleeves for the 70/30 split surf rods too!
Thanks for the input!
You should come up to British Columbia, come catch some slabs! They’d take you for a ride! 🤙 Tight lines brother
Still trying that chrispfish release love the video
I got to try the bay. Where did you lauch, sf or alameda side?
Great scouting day! Can’t be mad at that! How deep were you fishing at your most productive time?

I wanna go up there and do some kayak fishing so bad! I’m from SD. We don’t have fishing like up there. Except yellowtail.
Fun video Adam. Keepers are out there waiting for later. 👍🏼
Right on!!! What u using?

Dude, you should tie a string to that hand radio. It can easily pop off your life vest and into the water.
Nice day, nice fish 😃👍🏼
Don't worry, it floats!

You forgot to bring the fish stretcher.

I love your new reel. The shimano calcutta is on my lucky set up. What pole do you have it on?
Big three, Matt, Dan and Adam.
Why no dodger? Experienced trial and error results?
Yeah We Back!!!!!

Hey Adam did the herring migrate to that area? I heard they are moving south of SF
Good effort... That's fishing ;-).
Soon Friend , Soon 🙌🐦
I was out at OP but had no bites. How deep out were you? Great vid
18-25 feet
It was the same fish that kept biting😂just kidding.
Awesome catch.✌
Great day fishing even tho no keeper. Definitely going to hit up ARW soon. I like your new rod. Where can I purchase that exact rod at? TIA
Awesome video
Your halibut videos are always my favorite.
What was the water temp?
He said in the beginning it was about 900 degrees Celsius so about 32 F, the fish were frozen like fishsticks
By June those shorts will be legal.
For a brief second there, I thought you meant the "Karen's Kids" are back 😄😄
lololol
Is catching numbers better than one big keeper? 5 one pounders or one 5 pounder in a day's fishing? ✌🏻🎣
my preference is 1 big fish
Always good vid
I've seen videos of people catching absolute massive human sized halibut but you're never caught anything close to that size.
Is it a different species or are they just smaller in the San Francisco area?
Probably referring to Pacific Hali vs the local Cal Hali.
yes, the halibut we have in the Bay Area are "California Halibut". The big ones you are referring to are "Pacific Halibut"
make bright orange or neon sleeves
Nice
Very nice
Also called shakers because when you de-hook them you shake the fish off your hook with the de-hooker. How many times do you think you're caught the same fish over again. Maybe he's just following you around. 🤣
That's exactly why they're called shakers
Who els skips “ this video is sponso…” part ?
Why don't you get eels and catch some monsters like in that one video
Aloha, can’t believe your not wearing shorts.
I bet there is more
Poop on the streets than in the bay
😜👍
Action day! I can't believe you didn't find a keeper
Let's gooo
Looked like you kept catching the same fish over and over.
Dude you can't possibly eat all the fish u catch..one video u caught and kept like 3 or 4 in the same day..bro just keep one but your greed will get u one day..
