I use 30lb braid to 20lb fluorocarbon with same knot but I only do 2 wraps with fluorocarbon and a third with braid. The trick is DO NOT WET the knot and it holds perfect, this makes a very small knot that passes through the eyes easy. A three time redfish cup winner taught me that knot.

I am going to try this rig for my local landlocked stripers next time I go out. Often, while fighting in a striper on a fluke, there will be two or three other stripers following the one that I have on and trying to steal the bait away from my striper. I have seen this happen with black bass as well, especially aggressive smallmouth. Might result in a double hookup.
