I watch your videos all the time. You inspire me and give me the confidence that I can go out and catchem like you. I caught one Sunday 19 1/2 in. I was so excited I felt like a kid that wanted to tell her dad (you). Keep the videos coming. I love them.
I love tandem rigs and have experimented with a lot of different spinners for flounder. I don’t see many people use them around here, but roadrunner style underspins are great for flounder. The bass fishing world has started putting out a lot of bigger underspin jig heads that work very well for flounder. They also make weed less swim bait hooks with a weight and spinner attached to the shank of the hook that I think would work very well for flounder. The possibilities with spinners are endless if you get creative.
my favorite rod is a 7'6" poppin' rod. soft tip. super sensitive it's my normal light plastics rig with a Curado reel I also have an 8" glass rod from Australia that has a very sensitive tip that i have a 3000 spinning reel on. a great live bait rig
I was in the marsh yesterday there were big 25-32” redfish everywhere chasing mullet all over but no flounder. We were wondering if the big reds running up shallow by the grass maybe run the flounder off. Have you ever seen this? We went to fish for flounder. But wound up tired from fighting reds
coolest man alive you will LOVE a day on the water with him
Lol, thanks brother!

Lol, that a good one! Just find structure, fish slow and have patients.
My absolute favorite TH-cam captain. We even made our own bayou Bandit video one day. So funny. Come to Jacksonville! Let's go gigging.
Thanks brother!

Yes, if had days just like that, that’s what I love about the marsh!
@@bayoubanditcharters yes sir. It was a lot of fun
What hook do you use for the carolina rig?
I prefer a kahle hook, but any live bait hook should work fine.
What is your preferred brand of Flora carbon?
Four? I have trouble remembering one.
Man that’s just plain mean to the live bait people 😭
Good info tho I’ve never heard of a spinner before I’ll try it
Lol, not hating on the live bait guys. I just love artificial baits, I feel like I can cover a lot more ground with them.
