Hello, am so in love with this vedeo you teaches me a lot, AS A ECO-TOURISM TEACHER am so motivated and i will make sure the world will be a better place through ECO-TOURISM, eco-tourism is the future we want"💪 all the way from Tanzania
Wonderfully educational video on environmental awareness, protecting co-existence, inhabitancy and ecology... The topic dealt in the video in extremely innovative and perspective of job opportunities in this newly growing area of ecotourism... the thousands of video clips used in this informative session are pleasure giving and develop consciousness about the Nature and human inhabitance around us... making the viewers a eco-friendly and sensible citizens....we appreciate the hard labour, talent and creativity in making such quality videos... Keep it up... 🌹🙏🌺
Ecoturism is just another way to explore unpopulated areas building road infrastructures and resorts in order to generate money disturbing untouched Mother Nature threatning the natural regeneration of animal and vegetation species. Keeping civilization in big cities away from such secluded areas is the best way to protect the environment and ensuring those areas still exist as they are. Just my opinion although i appreciate the quality of the video and explanation.
Ecotourism is the only industry that can replace logging in the Amazon and other biodiversity hotspots. Loggers need jobs. Ecotourism is safer and has the potential to pay far higher than cutting down trees. The way ecotourism stations are designed, is to have have a minimal impact on the natural land. Far less disturbance, than say if an oil company (or any other corporation that isn’t an ecotourism or conservation focused corporation) were to situate itself within a forest .
Ecotourism provides an opportunity to learn about ecosystems, traditions and cultures, helps protect natural habitats and prevent species extinction.Tourists gain knowledge about wildlife, lifestyle and get a new experience. In addition, I believe that ecotourism can be more interesting and more fun than a regular vacation at a hotel or on the beach. We need to develop this direction in tourism more, and I am sure that this will help a lot in solving the problem of environmental pollution. Only we can save our world!
Thank you for this video Dr Stainton. It’s very inspiring. I’m planning on starting up a zero wastage health retreat/permaculture farm. Could you please point me in the right direction for further information?
So basically if you don't litter, you stay in a place considered eco friendly, and as a byproduct generates money for the local people you're an eco tourist?
I am not one to comment but I think you may be sharing valuable information however the "background" soundtrack is too much - your information is obscured by the too loud music. I'd love to show this to my students but there is no way they will gain anything other than annoyance at the music.
Ecotourism is a sustainable way to travel! It encourages travellers to help protect the environment and contribute to local communities on a much deeper level than the tourists just passing through. This hands-on approach plays a vital part in educating travellers about some of the hardships these environments face, which can only be a good thing!
