It is beyond my comprehension how anyone could put a thumbs down on this song. It takes a special kind of person to have that much hate. Keep singing grandma. And we will sing with you thank you so much for this gift

Not hate for song, many relations are taught not to publicize medicines - all of life is ceremony and not to be adored or used carelessly or for entertainment. This is a gift to her from her ancestors, and most nations do not share medicine like this.
That "might" explain the thumbs down.
Not in agreeable or opposition, here, just highlighting a perspective.
      A'ho

Water is water, when you talk to the water, you talk to it wherever it is, it is not separated from inside you. Do not separate it in your mind. Just like water, we are all connected.

Beautiful chant for Nibi Wabo. I learned another version by an Ojibwe grandmother in Superior. She came to Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and taught us. I am happy this inspired video is being taught. I was taught that the chant I learned was not to be shared via Computer, but the message is we love, respect, and honor water. Miigwech

My son was born in water. When he has been restless and inconsolable and nothing can be done to fully soothe him, I play this song for him. It has calmed him right down ever since he first heard it at about 2 months old. Thanks to my Mother for her suggestion to play this song.

sister, a global human necklace of humanity to stop the insanity is forming and want to include you and your circle of family. Join the sacred circle, the holy hoop, a ceremony for water. Rescuing and returning the granddaughters, and grandmothers and Creator Maker God from out of the plastic bottles that have held them hostage by the same terrorist, same profiteers, and banksters that came for Our Relatives, our children, seperating loved ones and took them away, away from their landscapes, away from their sky's, away from their fireplaces, and away from their watersheds, their homeplaces. Taken away, same formula, kill the indian, save the man, is to WATER, kill the freedom and save the profits. The power structure has done more than enough destruction and devastation for and in the name of the System, the "System" is slavery and fear. The power structure has known this pre roman times and created the Water Law, aka , the roman admiralty maritime law, it is the System. System of monetary value, trade, commerce, economy, treasures, goods, merchandise and products, everything, everybody and everyone and One, because all done on ships on sea. More water than land, maritime law rules the land. So again it is all about water. These Beings without empathy and want it all, have and are still seeking the ownership, and rights to all water, drinking water, fresh water, fresh water aquafiers, streams lakes ponds puddles drops drips tears sweat, all of it. air too, but writing about water. Remove fear, and it all becomes very real and very possible to create a circle of hope , faith, love and charity. indigenous peoples of the planet will stand to unite to end this insanity and reclaim life and the way of through Love, WATER. I have yet to meet or hear of a man woman drink nor drug, more powerful or power full, than Water, Love, Pure Energy, Source, Life, Our Creator, God. Water Conquers All.....A L L. We are the Ocean, there always, and all ways has been ocean, alway and all ways is the ocean, and always and all ways will be the Ocean, always and all ways changing, shifting, moving in and out of shape, and through it, never to be destroyed, ...never, which is a mighty long time and ever, well, that's a mighty long time too, but you get it. so instead of running around the planet trying to put out all of these criminals fires and spots of destruction, their wars, instead of playing their fixed game of the System, fill in any dis functioned shape or form of it, instead of throwing away our lifes into a cube, square, block, mine, job, or employer, in stead, we aren't just saying, will be action and doing, and not doing, and that's consuming, mining, and throwing lives away. will be educating saving rescuing returning reconciing repair and relaeseing the water, bailing or opening the lids to allow our Granddaugters and Grandmothers from the plastic bottles and God, the Creator Maker of All things, and the Giver of All life, WATER. Water belongs back in the Earth mother, on the Earth mother and with Father Sky. regaining their waters back, they regain their power and authority again, weight gain, allowing the balance to be restored, the memory of the life will remember, WATER has memory, the released water will find its way back home from their boarding schools, residential schools and back to their lands skys and watersheds, so i wanted to share just a tip of what's soon to occur, and wanted to see if you would be interested in wanting to be a part of this reclaimation of power, authority, life and the way of it. let us know, be well. it is all about the water, the ocean youn cry, and the rivers you drink to live
