That's why I always love the old school games, they never break down. Just like old school furniture, and other thing's, they really cared about how thing's were made back in the day.
Awesome!! Yes, you definitely need that in your life, ha ha! My favorite is still Dr. Mario, but I have to be careful because once I start playing I can't stop, lol! Hope you ladies are having a fun visit 😊
I've been same lately revisiting things from my 80's/90's childhood. Especially tv and movies, get my daughter into the things I use to have before kids were infront of phones all day. The coke can is awesome. Leonardo was always my fave turtle. Oh those simple tricks like blowing into the games was a daily occurance lol...Almost as good as the classic "switching it off and on again" lol They just don't make things like the classics anymore do they.
Awesome!! It’s fun sharing these things with our kids, isn’t it? When Zoe was about 10 years old, we spent one summer watching all our favorite childhood movies with her... Indiana Jones, The Goonies, all the Star Wars, etc. That was SO fun!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great week JJ! 😊
The 80s and 90s were the absolute Best when it came to toys, and videos/shows..... I could ne a little biased but it seems that is the overall consensus lol
That is very cool at 2:06.... As for the Nintendo console, you need to get Gyromite with that Robbie The Robot machine.... I have mine since 1987.... I still play my Nintendo.... I have a lot of videogames for it....
Exactly!! I heard someone say the other day... The 80’s are the new 50’s, so true! We are nostalgic about the time we grew up in, which I’m sure must be universal. Thanks for watching 😊
Fun video y'all! Abby, you're really on an 80's kick and totally taking us back :) I'm with Keith, you know you're old when the music from your childhood is on an oldies station, LOL! Fun stuff, I totally would have gotten the Star Wars stuff :) Not only do we remember New Coke, we have a hilarious story about a family member who went to extreme measures when New Coke came out, it's legend in Tim's family :) Fun, love the dancing coke can, although Jesse does not. He looks great with his trim and snappy bow tie on his collar ;) Fun to see Donkey Kong, haven't played that in years. I'm even older than you guys and I remember going to the arcade and playing Galaga and Donkey Kong and stuff, with quarters, on the big machines, with my friends on a Friday night, ha! We love every video you guys do, so definitely interested in more. We don't go antiqueing, but it's fun to go with you guys :) Have a wonderful and blessed day ----Stacy 😍💚
Thanks Stacy (and Tim!) We are definitely planning to shift our channel towards more 80’s content, so I’m glad y’all are cool with that. Yes, I’ve been on a big nostalgia kick lately, not sure why. But as it turns out, I’m realizing that the younger generation is pretty into it too... go figure! I heard someone say recently that the 80’s are like the new 50’s, so it’s all the rage for dress-up parties, decor, etc. Awesome!! Keith audibly gasped when he saw that Star Wars stuff, lol! It was cute. Since we’re officially “old” we’re just gonna roll with it! 😂
And one of these days, if we meet in person sometime, I really want to hear that story about the New Coke. What a funny marketing decision that was! And remember Jolt Cola?! Gag 😆
The 80’s was the best! Awesome finds, love the coke can. The other day our son asked who was Prince? Really??? Donkey Kong is my hubby’s favorite game. Enjoyed! 😀💕
NES was my first video game system I bought. We only had one tv and I would stay up so late after my parents went to bed playing. 12 hours later you’re still in the vlogging room playing Nintendo.
Ha ha, yes that's easy to do! Those games are definitely addictive, and I really struggle when it comes to Dr. Mario, lol! My first game system was actually Atari, but it was in my parents' bedroom so I guess that was a good idea to keep me from sneaking in late-night games 😂
Cool! It’s funny how our memories can flood back. I’d totally forgotten about those dancing Coke cans until Keith spotted it in the store! Thanks for watching 😊
As we were starting to clear out my grandmother’s house, I found an old Barney Balloon Race board game. I KNEW it had to be back there somewhere! I was SO glad when I found it!
Yes!! Antique shopping is so fun because you seriously never know what in the world you'll find! That grandpa doll was there last time we went back in October, not surprised no one has bought it yet, lol! Thanks for watching 😊
That coke can was a steal!!!! Cannot believe it still works. I remember having to fiddle with the NES cartridges to get them to work... Slide them in just a little bit and close the lid. Fun trip down memory lane. :)
Haha a dancing coke can! Keith has some great moves. Cool finds guys. So weird to see old hello kitty phones. Jesse doesnt like coke! Or maybe the glasses scare him 😆 you guys should see ready player one if you haven't. There's a lot of nostalgic games and references in it.
Yes!! Not gonna lie, I kind of wanted that Hello Kitty phone. But since we got rid of our land line, I guess that renders it useless, ha ha! We haven't seen that movie, will need to check it out. Thanks for stopping by our channel, have a great day! 😊
@@Our80sLife of course ill do my best to check in more i love your videos they brighten my day with both of your guys fun personalities and all the places you guys go. You and Keith have more of a life then I do! Haha

Where did you get that TV from? It's rad. The two items you bought are great, Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr are classics too. Great video, thank you for making it.

Ha ha, thanks Mark! We were good and didn't stay down there for too long, but man those games can definitely suck you in!! Playing them takes me right back to my childhood, what fun
Those coke cans were so cool. My brother used to have one. I remember Donkey Kong too. Great game. I really love how your TH-cam (vlogging room) turned out too btw. I would say Donkey Kong Jr is wearing a diaper haha. Really cool finds, that was an awesome store haha.

So true! They really don't make things the same as they used to. Even in the 80s, products seemed sturdier and just plain better than today.
That michaelangelo Turtle was awesome,, but the dancing coke is going to keep Keith jamming all the time!
Yes!! It seems that Keith guesses the name correctly, which is both funny and impressive! We’re loving our new toy, ha ha!
Kellie and I just finished watching this in DC! Makes me want to buy an old Nintendo 64 to play Mario Cart!
Awesome!! Yes, you definitely need that in your life, ha ha! My favorite is still Dr. Mario, but I have to be careful because once I start playing I can't stop, lol! Hope you ladies are having a fun visit 😊

Love all the stuff you found - even the creepy sleeping grandpa. 😂 Definitely makes me want to go antique shopping soon!

Super cool old classic Games and great Store 💖 I know not a lot about the 80's, because I'm born 1976 :)

You guys crack me up! You totally sound like me! What a steal on the Coke dancing can and Donkey Kong. Love your video's. 👋😀
Fun! I love antique/vintage stores! (That’s all we have in our small town anyway lol) Thanks for sharing!
Thanks!! You can find some cool treasures in antique and thrift stores, especially in small towns. Happy Shopping 😊
Great video. I love antique stores that have childhood memories in them. Donkey Kong looked great on that new retro TV you built.
Thanks!! The new (old) TV is fun, and of course we love having a dedicated place for our old classic NES games. 😊
Cool Coca-cola can dancing - Nintendo, I remember those days, totally remember blowing in them lol - Cheryl

Hi guys, Support from BZ. Have a great week
Do you know that the name”Donkey Kong” was an accident?
It’s true!
In Japan, they were trying to think of an English name.
They went with “Monkey Kong”.
It got screwed up,and ended up “Donkey Kong”!!
Let’s be honest,it’s a much more legendary name!
That's hilarious!! What's even funnier is that I never once thought to question the fact that a game about a monkey is called Donkey Kong... what the heck?!
The ninja turtle is Michelangelo and he’s modern not vintage
