This is a John Deere painted Soil Warrior. It will be interesting to see the pricing on this. Soil Warriors have been higher price point in the market so I would imagine the price will increase with the Deere stamp on it
It definitely is a Soil Warrior painted green. I've had that technology for 15 years. Now JD promotes it like they built something new. Why people have the loyalty to that company that they do is beyond me.
It is a soil warrior, they announced their partnership earlier. However, the reason that I am so excited about it is the fact that this gives the soil warrior product parts and service to a large dealer network and now you can buy parts for your "Soil Warrior" at any John Deere Dealership. It was not stated in the video because being early access I did not get much information on the unit. I knew that soil warrior had involvement but not enough to talk about it in depth.
@@6thGenFarmer This is truly the advantage for sure. Thanks for laying it out and confirming. I had not heard about this partnership but I recognized it immediately as a Soil Warrior with honestly a pretty shaky paint job.
Hi Carson! I love seeing new equipment like this, great video as always! Nice job keeping up, running along with it in action. That really showed how the strip till works. Beautiful tractor too! The drone footage showed how that strip till tool was making that tractor work to pull it, showing the lug tracks in the field behind the tractor! Wish I could have made it during the premier broadcast! Stay safe and healthy Carson!
more and more farmers are also using the strip till method here in germany. they want to move the floor as little as possible. most report that the crop is much better. nice video again and the drone footage is ❤❤ !!! 👍😊
Nice rig....Very dry here this fall, guys running chisel plows and rippers are pulling up dirt chunks as big as volley balls...I wonder if that machine would go in the ground.
Nice piece of equipment. Up here it is mainly Canola, Wheat and Barley so there probably isn’t much demand for something like that so thanks for showing it. My friend tried peas once, just once. He was so disgusted with how much dirt went through his combine he said never again no matter what they are worth.😮
Deere announced a partnership with ETS for this unit. So it’s an ETS Soil Warrior painted green. ETS make an excellent, heavy duty machine so it should work out well.
I mean your not wrong. But it is a step forward imo. Not only does it show that Deere is conscious about newer practices, but it allows soil warrior parts to be purchased at any Deere dealership.
Love you bud - but “new practices” ???? This is not new at all but yes the hardcore John Deere guys will now act as if it is new and they created and discovered strip til. Overall I’m just happy this will encourage less tillage and I agree it is a good step forward! Good job Deere!!!
@@donstephas4890 your right not a “new” practice. But it depends where you are located. I have only seen strips one time in my life before this. Super uncommon in my area. But I agree I am more happy about the fact that Deere is looking forward and working with companies like ETS to help these practices become easier and more accessible
That’s a sweet setup! I’m 14 and make some farming videos and was wondering if you could check some of them out and (maybe) give me a shoutout it would help a lot! Thanks
Millenial farmer needs to watch this.
Share it with him or comment on his videos!!
who? lol He sees it!
Somebody tag him😂😂
I shared it on his Facebook posts….
Maybe we could get the refit who plays millennial farmer, ZJ to watch this…

Looking forward to updates on the strip till trial. Thanks for showing lots of details on the new machine.

Love the new equipment testing! Cutting edge stuff.
Impressive set!
Drone footage with that fantastic music was special and fits perfectly with the tone and tenor of your video subject. Congrats. Good Job!
Thank you Gary!

A neighbor has a much dryer field than I and he struggled a bit more than me

Interesting to hear that. Luckily the peas that we are hoping to plant next year will be combined by the company that we are growing them for!
Nice 👌
Nice
Tell me about your radio relocation in that 9R.

@@6thGenFarmer thank you. Ordering that in the morning.
Nice vid
Happy Halloween to you today 🎃
You Too Derek!
Fertilizer tends to attack the metering rollers on deer air carts. Should have been built using corrosive resistant components.
Sweet looking machine.
agreed!
Ets.... just different colors.
Did you guys like strip till or hate it ?
I liked them. I plan on doing some more here in the future.
@ I have an older warrior, it has its days where it can be challenging but once you figure out the system it’s great
Looks good. Very similar to a soil warrior made in MN. Definitely helped make the design lol
Yes... You will notice that there are many similarities

Do they tho ?
Tanks aren’t big enough & sure don’t appear to be stainless.
@@4930driver yes… Deere announced the partnership. That’s an ETS machine painted for Deere. I ran a soil warrior for a few years.
I feel like I know that guy
How much is that outfit cost about 1.9 million?
Ets soil warrior but make it green and call it jd 😂
Brand new!!???? It’s just a soil warrior painted green 😂😂, have been around for 20 years!

*1 year
It’s literally a Soil warrior that’s painted Green….guess it doesn’t matter anymore since JD BOUGHT soil warrior.
Unless something happened in the past few days that I do not know about, JD partnered with Soil Warrior
I can think of a few reasons why they wouldn’t call it an STD lol
