I am still in the Navy, still traveling, in ways and to places I still find outrageously unique. Currently, I am in Japan. At 18, I came across my grandparents’ service photos and items they were issued or collected while they were active duty. My Grandfather passed shortly before I joined. Joining and serving has always been a part of me wanting to have my own wooden chest of history in the attic filled with a uniform, medals, letters, and photos of my past that future generations of my family, decades from now, would have to reflect on and see the type of person I had become through all that I was.
Had a girlfriend like that girl once, she was obsessed with showing her 'best life' on social media constantly taking snaps of herself, rather than enjoying the moment no matter how beautiful the place was. I took a solo trip to Colombia in 2008...wasn't solo for long and spent some of the best weeks of my life travelling around with an awesome Bogotan girl....Cartagena was so rad, high af, sipping cocktails on the walls of the city watching a thunderstorm over the ocean. You're a great guy man, Your attitude is exemplary.

Cuban Spanish is insane. My daughter's mom was born and raised in Mexico city and came here when she was 7. But I work with 2 Cubans that literally just got here 2 months ago
@@fistzx I think what he means is that Cuban Spanish is quite different than Mexican. It is very fast and often loud. Mexican Spanish is smoother and more melodic. I speak a lot of Spanish and love the language. As I get better at it, it really opens doors. I have lived in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and recently spent a month in Spain. Wonderful experiences.
The Cuban accent changes quite a bit in the eastern provinces . The accent is so rough and choppy in Havana or Matanzas but in Holguin or Las Tunas they have such a nice rhythm to their accent .
I am glad I found this channel...I speak Spanish at about your level and watching you in these videos really helps me improve my Spanish. I live Chicago and speak mostly English here.

When I got out of the Army in 1993 and was wandering around the lower eastern coastal states, I ran into a guy from South Africa named Charl (pronounced sharl) on Daytona Beach during Biker Week. He was a backpacker seeing the world before college. His father was a wealthy, white rancher in South Africa. I partied with the guy for 6 months and traveled as well. All the way to California. He continued on to Europe. I didn't have a rich dad to pay my way. Anyway, Kurt, you remind me of mu old friend from South Africa.

Very true. People think i exaggerate when I say that Colombia has a lot of beautiful women. A place where good women are extremely common. In a hotel I was in barranquilla many of the women that worked there were good looking.
you are 100% correct.... Romania has some strong competition but Colombia by far has the most attractive just gorgeous women in the world. I always say their 5s are our 10s in the states!
Watching these types of videos about visiting new places is bittersweet - seeing and experiencing new places, meeting new people from different cultures together with you growing as a person with all the new knowledge you obtain from being totally free, but at the same time realizing that you do not have the economic freedom to do so yourself. When I got out of the Army in 1993 and was wandering around
the lower eastern coastal states, I ran into a guy from South Africa
named Charl (pronounced sharl) on Daytona Beach during Biker
Week.
He was a backpacker seeing the world before college. His father
was a wealthy, white rancher in South Africa. I partied with the guy
for 6 months and traveled as well. All the way to California. He
continued on to Europe. I didn't have a rich dad to pay my way.
Anyway, Kurt, you remind me of mu old friend from South Africa.

She’s obviously ignorant to the fact that Mexico alone has 31/32 states, and almost every state has their own unique accent. There are Vulgar people everywhere, not just in Mexico smh. Definitely gave a holier than thou vibe.

lolol she is right so don't get up tight. Mexicans have horrible accents. Colombians have beautiful accent especially the women. I'm Puerto Rican and ours is somewhere in between but we have started to rely a lot on spanglish now so It makes things worst.

Very true. People think i exaggerate when I say that Colombia has a lot of beautiful women. A place where good women are extremely common. In a hotel I was in barranquilla many of the women that worked there were good looking.

I think everyone would have different ambitions in life, were it not for the limitations we are given in the society we live in.

sorry but wrong. Condors are huge birds that live high on the Andes across south america, they don't go to the beach as far as I know, plus they are way bigger than those. (I believe they are called south american black vulture)
