My wife grew up in Barranquilla and admits that she thinks Choco is dangerous to visit. The coast line is beautiful there and the food is great but there are still rebels milling around in the rural areas. Indeed Kurt loves to show his viewers the less traveled side, that is why I enjoy his site.

You have a good heart and willingness to meet and communicate with locals seems to give back to you the same.
Very entertaining, I love your videos, not staged, natural, positive emotions, best wishes from Lithuania!
My wife grew up in Barranquilla and admits that she thinks Choco is dangerous to visit. The coast line is beautiful there and the food is great but there are still rebels milling around in the rural areas. Indeed Kurt loves to show his viewers the less traveled side, that is why I enjoy his site.
It's not dangerous at all there. The choco might be dangerous but this région is really safe
Kurt you are the man! I love how strangers invite you into there homes!
i love your videos. a great example of how much it pays to be nice to people. The people you meet in their homes is amazing to see
This is a place I would visit happily. I'd bring my guitar and share music, and bring gifts for the children, like crystal stones or something. Just a totally awesome human experience. I'm SO hungry for authentic people, it's not even funny. Keep letting your DNA guide you Kurt. My household watches your videos with a ton of respect and good humor. You're a beautiful soul, and we so appreciate you sharing your journey with all of us. TH-cam with international travelers really proving to be quite popular. Wish you abundance, luck, blessings, protection, good health and if you ever wanna land somewhere in North America along the Canadian border, you're welcome to stay with us, off grid, on 20 acres of pure forest land in the beautiful green state of Washington. Sending love to ya. This was a BEAUTIFUL episode. Be well. Namaste.
I am from Colombia and Kurt has seen more of my country than I have!! Love your videos Kurt
Kurt, I accidentally saw one of your videos a few months ago and got hooked on them ever since. The true down to earth and unbiased videos are awesome. Tambien tu español lo hablas muy bien. Keep up the good work and I’ll stay tuned to your next video. Saludos from Texas!
I’ve watched about every once of your videos, especially the Mexico ones. As a Mexican I love how you went to discover the not so touristic places, they’re very dangerous though! I haven’t visited in about 4 years because I’m scared. Anyway keep the videos coming!
lol!
I see youtube videos of people saying come to Mexico, it's safe. Then in real life, native Spanish speaking Mexican immigrants tell me they don't go to Mexico because it's dangerous.
“Yo Kurt....thx for your inspirational travels.... you make me feel I’m with you bro....I don’t speak the language or have the moo-La to go but I can always count on you!!!”😉👍
Bro your Spanish is getting better and better wow!
I started watching yours videos recently and I enjoy every single one of them....keep up the good work bro.....
Brother that Spanish is improving massively. Now all you need is to get yourself a Colombian wife and you’ll be happy forever my man😂
Still looking for Shakira 😂
😆 why marry when can get a new one every week? It's 🇨🇴!
@@akhenatenamarna484 exact thing i was thinking!
I think he made the typical gringo mistake of confusing calor and caliente. We say “hot” for both temperature and food that is spicy but in Spanish they’re different things. I’ve made the same mistake though 😅
Im learning spanish which brought me to start watching kurts videos !!
Jeje but yes his spanish is still basic !!
Think i heard him say yo buscando joanna. He missed the estoy busc...
I have so much respect for you, you don't make locals feel uncomfortable and you embrace other cultures. My cousins are Colombian, I'm Rican and Dominican.. Their food is amazing and their music!
@@soccer1970-f5f oh wow never knew that wow smh
Kurt’s translations of his own speech are… extremely generous to himself. Hahah.

Nice bit of Eddie Grant, Kurt! "Gimme hope Joanna.."...lol! I'm about 4 days into my Kurt Caz binge and loving every second of your adventures! Viva Colombia!
Kurt! You are making my dreams from childhood come true! I still want to visit all Latin American states, talk to local ordinary people! Thanks for your journey! 😁👍👍👍
Great Vid mate! Happy to see you supporting people of Choco!
Small correction: she said 4 tourists are coming on the 19th, not 4 tourists in 2019

This video melts my heart. Really heart touching. It was like I was there travelling and she invited me for lunch. What a nice lady. What a serence place. I would gladly love to taste her cooked meals. Also I dont know if I am the only one out there who got teary eyed. Its like I would never get to see more of her again. And its true. I am a bit sad too. God bless Kurt and God bless her.
