Oh man, you NEED to hear her duet with Stevie Nicks, Edge of Midnights (featuring Stevie Nicks). It samples Edge of Seventeen, and oooh so good. Her voice used to be cleaner, but she had vocal surgery in late 2019 (you mentioned being in the medical field - she had Reinke’s edema). After the surgery, she had to learn to sing again - and to learn with purpose and a vocal coach. Kinda a similar trajectory to Hetfield needing to learn how to sing after abusing his voice. (And they had some same reasons for the damage they had to repair - alcohol and smoking, combined with bad vocal habits).

I have never heard this artist or song. I clicked because of a recent joke short about "if in Canada would be Kilometery Cyrus" brought her to my attention.🙄 Hmmm. Not a fan. The organic elements were not enough to counter the sterility and formula feel. I did like the lyrics and the message.👍 Yes, the huskiness was nice but this song did not display anything exceptional. Of course, sometimes all we need is a fun feel good song but the overly blatent sexual moves and elements disgusted me. The thrusts by the pool side in the bikini was too over the top and more likely why the views. I can think of plenty of uglier women that should be getting this number of views purely because they are producing good creative music. I am sorry if I offend fans but I cannot like everything and must be honest.🌹
