    Thank you Chef AJ for answering my question regarding folic acid. I thought you'd find it 'funny' that my physician prescribed that before getting my blood work results back and when they came back told me I didn't need them along with the vitamin D she recommended. 🥦🥔!!! Thank you again for sharing your knowledge!!! You are so kind.

I'm subscribed to his webinars with Dr. McDougall so I get advanced notice about those, but don't see anything on his Facebook, or TH-cam Channel about this one. Would you have a link?     I thought nightshade were my problem but it was corn that was my problem. I did experiments and it was so bad I thought I needed a knee replacement. Stopping g corn stopped my personal joint pain. Worth doing your own experiments

    There is powdered peanut butter without the added salt, sugar or oil. Check out Crazy Richard's Pure PB Powder (Amazon carries it). Ingredients - just non-gmo peanuts. Do you still not recommend that?

    Hoosier Hill Farm peanut butter powder has only one ingredient: roasted peanuts. NO salt or sugar. One tablespoon has only 1 g of fat and 0 mg sodium. Since Dr. Greger recommends that we have nuts every single daily in his “Daily Dozen” this allows me some nuts without the fat. I use it for flavor in my smoothies and “Nice Cream.” And yes, I love eating raw peanuts, but I don’t love the fat.

      Please watch Dr. Greger’s many videos on the benefits of peanuts and read his book, How Not to Die. In the chapter called Nuts and Seeds, on page 345, under “The Power of a Pea-“Nut”, he discusses just 2 of the benefits of peanuts and cites Harvard’s Nurses’ Health Study (I’m an RN and knew some nurses in this study) that cut their risk of heart disease nearly in half by including just 1 tablespoon of peanut butter 5X/wk. His videos discuss many more benefits. To quote the National Cancer Institute, “To date, no outbreaks of human illness caused by aflatoxins has been reported in the United States . . .” Thus, this legume (yes dear one, I know it’s a legume) is definitely a keeper in my diet, just without the fat. Thank you so much for helping so many folks and for responding back to me. This was great fun!

      Harvard’s Nurses’ Health Study (Harvard is not part of the nut industry that I know of) showed that nurses (yes, some of us are vegans that eat our greens & get enough Omega 3’s and some of us are food addicts) cut their risk of heart disease nearly in half by including just 1 tablespoon of peanut butter 5X/wk. Something vegan that will cut my risk of heart disease in half? Sign me up! Food as medication is so cool. And again, dear one, I know peanuts are legumes. I’m so honored that you’re discussing this with me-this is so much fun!

    but I like unsweetened baking chocolate. I also like to get cacao nibs and crunch them between my teeth. I will admit to being addicted to chocolate, but eating baking chocolate is not a deterrent for me. I am trying to be abstinent, I just found you a month ago.
