How to make larger than cricut mat sign

I figured out how to make any design that is bigger than my mat without going to pay to print a big sign, so i decided to share with you how i do it.
I have the cricut maker but any cricut will do, you can just change your design to cut more pieces or less. For example: If I had the 12x24 inch mat, then i would have just 2 pieces.
