SlimeVR: Official Development Set UNBOXING!

- I just received a 7+3 dev set of Official Slimes directly from the SlimeVR company for review + testing (TYSM Eiren!), so now have official SlimeVR Full Body Trackers! I'm extremely excited to test them out - this is just a quick unboxing, to show what's in the package, I'll be making a review video very shortly!
Thank you to the entire development team! Also thank you to all my subscribers and viewers - I really appreciate the support and will be working hard every day to improve them so we all get the best experience!

Like I've told you before your hard work you put into bringing eyes to SlimeVR have paid off and I'm glad I was here to witness and be a small part of that journey. I'm sure the avi on screen was tracked with the new trackers? Great job ZRock and congrats again.
Thank you so much for being there, Fade, it's been a really fun journey and I think that it's just going to get more exciting from here on out! I used my DIY trackers for this one, the new ones were still charging up when I filmed - they'll be getting plenty of use though, I'm already prepping up to do a 20 tracker mocap video!

Awesime seing official ones in someones hands now. I've got my white 7+3s in shipment 2 coming early august. Kind of neat having an exclusive color too from being an early backer. It'll be cool to see more people running around with these in VRC.

I was a bit late on ordering slime trackers in crowdsupply so im not expecting to get them anytime soon but im excited to get them i got some friends already using them and cant wait to get them

what are the extensions for? i bought this same set(which hasnt come in yet) but i honestly have no idea what they do LOL
So i got my core set today with 5 tracker and 1 extension, but i got no extension wire in it xD
Does the tracker need the vr to be connected to the pc?

The Official Slimes, what I am showing here, are in the process of fullfilling pre-orders made through the crowd funding site "CrowdSupply". With that in mind, there are over 8000 people who have pre-ordered, and with construction rate at about 2000 sets a month, it's going to take some time to get just the current pre-orders done. Basically if you pre-order now, you would probably not get them until the start of next year, at that rate. It sucks, but it's a small company, they are going as fast as they can!
There are also DIY sellers in the SlimeVR discord offering various sets, in the marketplace forums channel, however since quality may differ and components used may not be as good as the official slimes, I can't vouch for them other than say they complied with the application process there to be a vendor.
There are other vendors of DIY slimes online as well, but generally if they don't have a listing on the marketplace forum, they have either been banned from it for bad business practices or didn't apply since they knew they wouldn't qualify for listing there. I would specifically say avoid "OZI" trackers, and I regularly get people with issues at live tech support meetups who purchased the "Nyx" trackers, but ultimately if you go those routes, it's on you to do your research. Buyer beware!

Bruh I ordered my slime VR around Christmas of last year and it's still not here.. like my entire vrchat friend group managed to fall apart before the damn trackers got here now I have no reason to want them and they still ain't here, expected to be here on Christmas of this year.. but who knows maybe I'll play vrc again and get called slurs in the black cat like always

If you got it in december you are pretty much safe to get it in october or even before it
