Modified UPPP Surgery - Days 1 to 13 VLOG - UPPP recovery journey following a Double Jaw Surgery

I put this video together to give anyone considering a Modified UPPP (uvulopalatopharyngoplasty) an insight into my post-operative recovery timeline. My modified UPPP followed 6 months after a Double Jaw Surgery (Le Fort 1 and BSSO), and as such my surgical outcomes may be different to those who ordinarily wouldn't undergo a DJS first.

Thanks, I hope my video was of some help. Unfortunately no improvement to my sleep as a result of this procedure. I still have ongoing nasal breathing issues which arose from the DJS/MMA, which I'm hoping to address in due course with a DOME (surgical assist MSE) procedure. I'd recommend looking in to that before doing going down the UP3 path. I haven't had any negative outcomes from the UP3. I had a small amount of VPI for a few months afterwards which seems to have since resolved itself.
