Congrats on finding your new baseline, and on getting the chance to work again! It's definitely the season for considering loved ones, and who to make time for. If I can recommend anything, it's to not feel pressured into doing something that doesn't fill your cup. Fill your cup to the fullest, and know that the cup can change size and shape ❤

It's great to see how you create your own versions of things even if we don't get a pattern out of it - for me, I'm learning how you problem solve, adapt existing patterns, and have the confidence to design your own pieces. That's inspiring! And thats not to mention the other crafts you are dipping into and learning about. Also I think most of us can appreciate how limited time can be to dedicate to knitting when working a day job, so don't sweat it 😊 And congrats on securing your home.

I don't care if you just show things you got ideas for and created. Actually I love that part, partly because it's how I like to do things and partly because it's how my grandmother taught me to sew and it's so lovely to see other people make things from their heads and random notes

I have been looking forward to sitting down in the morning with my knitting and getting to catch up with you a little after getting back home, and it was so lovely! I sat down with a good mug of hot ginger, lemon & honey and (finally) cast on my warp vest (thank you for that!). It's so good to see you and hear you getting inspired once again. The idea of you getting back a bit into pattern designing has me very excited! Also, I would one hundred percent be there for you streaming a craft night. Would be such a good way of connecting more regularly! Your newest Thonnan is kind of reminding me of my own, even though the green is very different and honestly so is the laceweight. And the jumper you knit for Alex is gorgeous, I thought I recognized that yarn ;) Anyway, so so lovely to see you again, and I really do hope life will be less a lot and you'll be able to slow down for winter!
