I like RE6. You can finally aim while walking, actually running than that light jogging that's always consider running. Aim while crouching down and pull few punches too.

Fun fact about the stupid running across the boat part, even if Chris is ahead of piers in co-op about half the time it will just decide Chris died.

I will admit that I was shocked to see the state that Chris was in when this game first came out. Never expected to see him fall so low after the events of RE5

Bad writing. They had to send him back to square one to make him brood yet again. Except his entire arc was wrapped up in RE5, making his story in this title not just pointless but cheaply tacked on.

Pretty sure Bort was a reference to The Simpsons. I think it was the Itchty and Scratchy Land amusement park episode. Marge was looking for an item with "Bart" written on it and only saw "Bort"

I understand the ire for RE6 being so far away from a traditional RE game, but it does feel like a natural progression for the lore. The bad guys were super-successful and launched an attack on the world. Only the (mostly) vets from the earlier games can stop them. It's a "resident" evil by name only.
If the giant leap away from the more traditional games keep you from playing, you're missing out on an amazing experience 🤷🏾‍♂️
