I hope we get the 80 percent build. So I can fully form an opinion. Cause I understand why they scrapped this. I doubt we will ever see the 80 percent build.
This game hits the nostalgia nail on the head for me. I remember just being scarred by RE1 as a kid and then I kept seeing this version of RE2 on those demo discs that came with magazines and stuff, and I was blown away. In another universe, this is my alternate version's game. And it's fascinating to see what could have been.
Originally the creators wanted RE 2 to be the final installment. It’s so interesting to see how RE might have gone with 1.5. It’s much more realistic with modern day police station. Like Bawk I wish they would have a team that would develop RE classic installments continuing the storyline of 1.5. That would be great and would make a lot of money for Capcom. I think RE fans would love to see that.
This mod by MartinBiohazard is made from Team IGAS's MZD (Magic Zombie Door), which itself is a slightly patched-up version of the 40% November 1996 build that leaked. This version of RE2 was cancelled in March of 1997, and thus more complete builds of this game exist. Hideki Kamiya said that it was around 80% complete when it was cancelled. One day we'll get that last build from 1997. Keep the faith, people! Until then, we have MartinBiohazard's mod. He truly has done God's work over the past decade.
Actually RE 1.5 could be rehashed u instead of the RPD station u can include like A college campus or something And still include Eliza Walker and another character male or female
A lot of people attribute Mikami as the father of Resident Evil but he would have just as easily endangered the franchise in its infancy had it not been for the likes of Iwao, Sugimura and Okamoto for rewrites and a push to continue the story beyond the original two entries. Which is pretty neat because Mikami ended up rewriting and replacing the likes of Sugimura along with several others for RE4. The rest is history.
In another time line this became a cult classic
Or an incredible flop and Resident Evil franchise stopped there
@@gameplayvideoful there''s a reason why they scrapped so much work.

Resident Evil 1.5 feels like a haunted sister of the original.

Sup!
such a great streamer sucks that he always has to do the same type of games. His best streams are when he steps outside of the horror genre.
You're in luck because he's streaming Palworld at the moment
