I couldn’t figure out why he cut the strawberries. We never did as those are the runners that will produce more berries next year. If they are ever bearing, he may have cut off berries for later in the summer.

Little Hope is such a trooper. She's always ready to lend a hand or do a chore. Ya'll are raising them right, great job. I never knew so many crawdads would come from one small little area. Shows what I know.

Hope the crawdad hunter. She sure enjoys spending time with you even with wild pigs scaring both of you. Nice to see Hadley back out and hope she feels better. I've been suffering with bad allergies for the past two months and this evening we are about to get another thunderstorm. I live in Washington State on the eastern side and the weather has been crazy the past two weeks!
You have a lot of carry options. In sweats, with no belt, I clip a IWB holster on the waist band and cinch up the drawstring of the waist band, real tight, stays secure. If it gets too heavy, clip a pair of 2" wide suspenders to your shorts and wear them under your shirt. My brother would wear a fanny pack, in the front, with his carry in it.
I like the new tent. Yep, we could hear the hogs "barking". I am so glad that Hope listened to you Sean and took off running to the truck with not questioning the reason why. Yes, you better come up with a pew-pew holster or band that you can keep the freedom leaded tool on you. Hope picked out a great spot, gold mine of crawdads.

I hope Hadley starts to feel better, she’s awfully quiet. Hope is such a good helper. Loves her time with her Dad. Making memories, she’ll reflect on when she’s grown. Remember when Dad n I was at the creek and that hog snorted and Dad left his pistol in his he truck. Then he scared the crap out of me just as we where leaving 😂

They make fanny packs with pistol holsters built in to them. They use velcro to adjust making you get a custom fit to your weapon.

The strawberry runners is what produces the new plant and your strawberries for next year!. you need to direct the runners in to a new raised bed and the center of your current raised bed.

Did you put some gravel in the entrance of that net or some rocks ? That would hold the entrance down & help keep the net from drifting.
Thats a good idea. Probably some at the end too to block a way to get out. Might put a heavy rock there

My family raised hogs for years. They don't bark, they don't growl. They grunt and squeal. Bullfrog gets my vote, too. There's probably an app that would identify it like the ones for birds and plants.

We get those “crane” birds here too but we call them Great Blue Herons.
Sounded like a big frog... I have them down at my pond and they sound just like that especially if it is going to rain.. my husband used to say "they were calling the rain"

get you a shoulder holster for your pew pew for when yall are at the creek property n you are in shorts that way you can keep it on you i use a shoulder holster for mine and its pretty comfy
You set the green net up backwards the wings go to the downstream and the bait goes in the tube. the scent from the bait will go down stream and the crawdads will follow it up into the tube. More likely to catch minnows with it than crawdads but you might catch some.
Dutch u get yourself a shoulder holster now to wear while at your property now too....I carry two pistols on me all the time while at my off grid property too.

On the home made pig trap: since the small sholts are getting through the wire, maybe double up on the wire to make the holes smaller. You'll double your work but the little sholts won't get away. 😮

Hi, oops you cut off the strawberry runners, you could have had loads of new plants, after 3yrs strawberries become really small so it's best to replace from the runners, apologise if you know but I'm from the UK, love your channel and your 3 daughters are so sweet and helpful ❤

Uncle Mikes shoulder holster works great and you can get one in any caliber you need ! I have 3 of them and i'm a big guy like you ! Plus mag holders for it also , i carry 4 mags at all times in the woods , we have wolves up here not pigs so my 380 acp takes care of them just fine !

Scary! That sounded like a dog bark and a pig grunt. Maybe one of the wild dogs ran into a hog and they were having a stand-off moment. We have a saunder (?) of 12 hogs running around the neighborhood every evening/night atm. 10 young ones, about half the size of Gunner, and 2 adults. No fun. If I smell wild hog, I walk the other way, lol. Wet oak leafs smell pretty much the same though so, having a three huge oak trees here, that's sometimes hard to distingish.
