Knowing that there are others out there that don't succeed in what they envision makes me feel better. You always see the success and hardly ever the failures. Thank you Mr. Nick...you are amazing.
The one thing I admire about you most is that though you seem disapointed by failure, but it doesn't stop you from trying something else when you do fail. So many people just give up when they fail at something. You just keep going! Inspirational craftsman! Keep on keeping on Nick! Satisfying is an understatement for this project Nick! From how delicious our foam looked in resin, to the snap crackle and pop it made setting into that incredible bowl, this was an incredible project! Well done mate! Shadow Foam - not just for organising tools! 👍
I found your channel last year and have been watching all your funny and wacky projects that you have made over the years. I absolutely love the enthusiasm that you have during the entire video! I am NEVER disappointed when a NZ project "does not go as planned"... I rather like the ones that are one of a kind!
Very nice! My kids still play Nick Zametti and do a make believe resin project. Its fun to explain to friends and family. They also watch your videos as part of their bedtime routine. They always look forward to your next episode and we watch them together. This was a great one!
I love that you are willing to spend so much time and effort to try things when you have NO idea of they will work or not! Seeing success, failure, expectation and problem solving is so rare on any form of media these days. I appreciate that there are makers like you who are willing to experiment and try new, fun, off the wall things without an attachment to a specific outcome, trying things just for the excitement of the journey. Sometimes things don't work, but sometimes you end up with a massive success like this one!
At around 10 minutes, I'll tip you off here: the air has vacated the cells in the foam under the vacuum pressure, thus reducing volume without changing overall mass. In the end that's not really a _problem,_ but something you have to account for.
@@chantillychandra Maybe less time in the chamber, as it was the second go. That or the resin could've more effectively sealed off the cells of the foam, trapping more air. Either is possible, and I'm not omniscient.

That looks AWESOME!!! I even love the section where it's more resin than foam as you can see through it and the colours show up so well, plus it seems to have all happened on the same level so looks like a planned feature.
I honestly love ALL your projects and experiments! What I would absolutely love is a video with nothing but tips and like a resin 101 type of class for those of us who are just getting into trying it ourselves. My dad and I are going to do a table together. He has a wonderful Handyman and does some great work with building things. He has just turned 71 and I am 43 (the youngest of his 2 children, both girls) and I am always into helping him fix or build anything and everything he does. From fixing things on cars to building chicken coops, and replacing electrical outlets, and everything in between, I am the daughter that loves to be right there doing everything with him. So I have asked him to build a resin table a river table with me so that I can have some thing that we built together and keep it forever. He is a charter fisherman and takes people from all over the world fishing. So, a river table would be absolutely amazing to build together! Also, his favorite color and my favorite color is blue. And it was my grandfather’s too. And my grandfather was the one that taught him how to fish in shared the love of being on the river with him. So this table would mean so much to us in so many ways. I showed him a video of you building a river table and he has now started watching TH-cam videos about River tables. He agreed to build one with me and we are both very excited, but we’re nervous Because we don’t have a lot of money and a ton of equipment. So we need to be able to do it right the first time and we’re worried about buying a lot of resin and which kind of mixing it right and all of that. It has to go well the first time. so if you did a video of working with resin 101 for beginners and all kinds of tips and what not to do and what to do and if this goes wrong, then this is what you do and all of that it would be amazing for a lot of us. Also, if you maybe did another river table video, that would be incredible! Thank you for all that you do, and it is not just entertaining, but really helps those of us who like to create things and tinker with things and maybe do small little projects as a hobby.
Hey Nick! I'm loving this "funkadelic" spongy bowl, all the colors really made it POP! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next. Great Scott! This is fantastic! You deserved a win. I just wanted to thank you for posting both your successes and the not-quite-so-successful projects (it's only a failure if you didn't learn from it)! As an artist myself, I find that people tend to think that because of my pieces' final results, they're always that good straight away. That's absolutely not the case, and very rarely does an art piece turn out the way I would like, the first time around. I think this misconception deters many people from trying arts, crafts, etc. because they don't feel adequate. I always try to encourage everyone to try their hand at things. I truly believe that we are all born creators, and we only have to find what we want to create and hone our skills. Thank you for showing the world that makers, too, are human beings, and as such, perfectly imperfect!
Something I have always wanted to see someone make is a wooden floating bowl inside a resin bowl , so kinda like the wooden bowl is attached and carved out with the resin and on a pedestal, and if anyone is funkadelic and crazy and good enough to do it I think it would be you Nick .. keep calm and waffle on love you work Nick
I like watching you make everything you do because of the energy you have for doing it. Some of my favorites are the Lego projects, especially the dioramas in resin bottles. Mix it up and rotate through the different types of things you make.
Hi Nick. My daughter and I love your videos. Her favorite was the giant pencil, and she is begging me to start turning some projects ourselves! Keep up the good work.
another cool project. my son Jack and I turn wood on our lathe, and really enjoy it, your work has inspired us to try resin some day, but my VA pension doesn't really leave the budget for that for now. we did just finish turning a two piece trekking pole for my grandson's birthday. Jack is a good uncle. have you ever turned a walking stick, or a two piece trekking pole? maybe with wood and resin combined? that would be a cool project. so that you could put them in the pressure pot, maybe make a multiple section cane or pole. we used brass plumbing fixtures to join the two sections.

Just can't stay away you are so lovable! keep it up there is something about you that keeps me coming back for more! Failures are just as appealing as the successes and there is no doubt you are multi talented.
Such a lovely break from my workday, watching one of your videos, even the failures. I love that you're a (just a little) bit bonkers. My favourite projects of yours are the tables that combine wood and resin and pretty much anything that comes to life with light (the project that looked like fire was amazing). I also really loved the dioramas you made. So...yeah. Thanks for all the entertainment and creative ideas. One of these days I might even have a go at making the resin and wood lamp I've been wanting to since I started watching your channel.
I like the funky experiments and the woodturning and the restoration stuff, too. A few ideas: Bamboo + resin PlayDough + resin Postage stamps from around the world + resin and then turn it until it is a sphere - sort of like a globe
It reminds me of Fruity Pebbles. Now that I say that, I think it would be a cool idea for you to make something using Fruity Pebbles, Rice Crispies, and Coco Pebbles. Maybe a cereal bowl.
Nick, I have been watching you for ages. First time commenting though. You inspired me to get into turning. I absolutely love it. I also love all of your projects, win or lose. So yeah, hello from Texas.
I love the restoration stuff. I know you originally thought about doing a separate channel for that. I'd be all fo it if you did, but the lathe/resin projects are my favorites.
Love all your projects and failures. The failures make us stronger at what we do. I've had a lot of them in my life, but I will never give up. It made me what I am today. If we were all perfect it would be a very boring world 🌍. Looking forward to seeing your next project. Take care and God Bless.

I am sending greetings from Indiana, USA. Been watching your stuff for a while and enjoying it! I feel I learned the most from your boo-boo's. Not every project is perfect but you learn & you grow.
This bowl reminds me of a black nail polish with iridescent glitter in it. Also i challenge Nick Ziametti to make a cake stand with sprinkles and cake decorations in resin as the top and wood for the base. Stay safe and stay awesome💜
Thank YOU Nick! You keep coming back with new and amazing projects for us. Do you ever have people that will try a project of yours that failed and let you know if they succeeded? That would be interesting to find out.

That turned out a lot better than I thought it would. If you have more shredded foam left, maybe you could do something with less foam and more resin that light could shine through. Maybe some kind I'd night light or accent light. Keep doing what you're doing. You're an amazing craftsman and always entertaining. Thank you.
Love it - A perfect bowl for eating Fruity Pebbles out of. My Kiddo says "the chips in the bowl give it character!!" Thank you for giving us a wonderful clip to watch as a family. You inspire us!
Loved this bowl, Nick! So nice of the company to send you grated foam. What I like about your stream is the variety. Mostly successes, the occasional thing that didn't turn out completely right, and varied projects. I especially like colorful projects, like pencils, gold shreds/sheets, the tea kettle, and the Lego table. I keep trying to think of something to send you, but I make things in porcelain, and I don't think that would turn very well.

Amazing! I really like this one. Don't be too hard on yourself for the "failures" you experience. it is your curiosity and willingness to try anything just to see what happens that draws me to your channel. The only real failure in life is to never try.
This is my favorite piece. It's brilliant.
It’s a beautiful bowl. The foam with all the different colour’s make it beautiful. It would make a perfect popcorn bowl.
I agree with you 💯 %. If you don't fail you don't learn anything. But when you fail you learn a lot that's why you're famous because you don't show us the good ones only. And you're so talented because you learn a lot from failures. Keep up the good work 🌹. I'm from Malta 🇲🇹 and like to see your work 👍
You know life’s good when you think you’re about to have a s**t day and by pure off chance you turn on youtube and a Nick Zammeti video is sitting there waiting in your notifications and then you forget all about that s**t day you were talking yourself into because Mr Magic Nick Zammeti has cheered you right up ☺️ Thanks mate 👍🏼
ALWAYS THRILLED!! A new video from Nick Zammeti is always a day changer! Thanks again!
The bowl turned out fantastic. The colors pop really great.
It's like a popcorn bowel for popcorn! I love the fluff and funk of this one! It would be fun to see some glitter or gold in with it too! Thanks for being a awesome maker!
Really amusing to watch you work- your banter helps us all escape from the problems of the real world for a good while. Keep it up mate- you bring a smile to many peeps out here.
Wow! I love the contrasting difference between the two pours. Great job.

Thanks!
Everything you make is really awesome love watching your videos
I like the funky experiments and the woodturning and the restoration stuff, too.
A few ideas:
Bamboo + resin
PlayDough + resin
Postage stamps from around the world + resin and then turn it until it is a sphere - sort of like a globe
I really love this project. Thank God we have your creative art to watch and learn from!
Nick, you make me laugh. I have chronic illness, so that is a big comfort to me. Keep doing what you do. Love, from Oregon.
I love the colors in this one and how the light shines through.

A version of this with some metal shavings / shiny fabric / large glitter pieces would look even more amazing! That came out really nice.
The LEGO guitar was great!
It reminds me of Fruity Pebbles. Now that I say that, I think it would be a cool idea for you to make something using Fruity Pebbles, Rice Crispies, and Coco Pebbles. Maybe a cereal bowl.
Looks like a Galaxy in a bowl . . . Absolutely lovely. I like anything you do . . .
Loved this one. Thanks for persevering.
Nick, I have been watching you for ages. First time commenting though. You inspired me to get into turning. I absolutely love it. I also love all of your projects, win or lose. So yeah, hello from Texas.
Well thank you for putting out your videos. You show your mistakes, experiments, and victories. I love when I see one of your videos shows up. 😍
I love the restoration stuff. I know you originally thought about doing a separate channel for that. I'd be all fo it if you did, but the lathe/resin projects are my favorites.
What a beautiful project! SO pretty!
Love all your projects and failures. The failures make us stronger at what we do. I've had a lot of them in my life, but I will never give up. It made me what I am today. If we were all perfect it would be a very boring world 🌍. Looking forward to seeing your next project. Take care and God Bless.

I have been following along with your channel for a really long time now and what makes your channel what it is is that you make crazy cool stuff that other people won't don't change that for anyone do what makes you happy thanks brother till next time stay safe
Loving the bowl, the pit holes, I think adds character to the bowl grate job, I’m always here to see your work come rain. Heat, or snow the lot.
I have watched you for several years now and Charlie’s channel too. I love the projects you both do. I don’t comment but, wanted you know I do like 👍 every one. I look forward to what you do next and love your sense of humor.
I never miss a video. I especially like the way this one turned out.
I find the projects that do something unexpected just as interesting as those that turn out like the plan. You never have a failure, you just discovered an interesting aspect to the original idea.

I LOVE THE COLOURS.! WOW, THING'S YOU COULD MAKE WOULD BE ENDLESS! GREAT PROJECT, AS ALWAYS!
I didn't think it was going to be possible. You pulled it off superbly!
I love when its spinning it looks brown and then when it stops, bam! Explosion of color!
Your the best Nick because you show the good and the not as you planned lol. Your real and make me smile and laughter out loud you crazy in the best way
I enjoy all the different videos, including restoration! Thanks for posting!

Don't eat the resin-foam, Nick! 🤣
I truly love your videos, they really REALLY make me smile. You've got such a warm personality, and it's an utter joy to watch you. Also, I think it goes without saying that your creations are fabulous af too!
Hey don't get too down, Nick! Your work is A+plus! Things'll look up again with the views
That turned out a lot better than I thought it would. If you have more shredded foam left, maybe you could do something with less foam and more resin that light could shine through. Maybe some kind I'd night light or accent light. Keep doing what you're doing. You're an amazing craftsman and always entertaining. Thank you.
That looks like it would be a great planter! Beautiful!
Great project. Glad it turned out. Back to the turning roots!
Love it - A perfect bowl for eating Fruity Pebbles out of. My Kiddo says "the chips in the bowl give it character!!" Thank you for giving us a wonderful clip to watch as a family. You inspire us!
Another great outcome Nick❗👍🏼 Yahoo 🎉
Loved this bowl, Nick! So nice of the company to send you grated foam. What I like about your stream is the variety. Mostly successes, the occasional thing that didn't turn out completely right, and varied projects. I especially like colorful projects, like pencils, gold shreds/sheets, the tea kettle, and the Lego table. I keep trying to think of something to send you, but I make things in porcelain, and I don't think that would turn very well.
The sponge soaked up the resin was perfect for this project. Everything got nice and tight with very little gap. 👍👍

Oh my goodness I grew up in the '60s and '70s and this reminds me of the melamine melamac spotted mixing bowls. Too cool!
CIAO. One of the most successful projects of the last period👍🏻
I like all of it, wood turning, resin creations, restoration, it's all good. Keep up the great work!!!
YOU HAVE A GREAT SENCE OF ADVENTURE IN YOUR ART AND THAT IS SO SO SO COOL!!! YOUR ART IS FUN, MADE WELL AND SOMETIMES USEFULL EVEN IF ITS TO JUST LOOK AT!!! SO KEEP UP ALL YOUR GREAT WORK I'M SO SO SO SO ENJOYING YOUR CHANNEL!!! THANKBYOU FOR SHARING!!!
Wow the bowl turned out beautifully love it
This bowl rocks! Stunning
I have to tell you, I spend my days watching all your craziness. Absolutely love sitting and watching the entire videos over & over again. Reminds me of when my grandfather was Mason wood working. Keep on with the craziness, party on.🥳
