- In an interview with FRANCE 24 on the sidelines of the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact, Kenya President William Ruto said the multinational financial architecture needed to be "fixed". He also reacted to the ongoing conflict in Sudan, saying "there are already signs of genocide". More than 2,000 people have been killed there fighting broke out on April 15.

Couldn't he have discussed the issues relating to the protests one after the other like high cost of living, electoral injustice etc. What has protests in Paris got to do with protests in Kenya?? Kenyans made a good decision to elect Mr Ruto as their President. He's vibrant, fit and knowledgeable of his subject. On top of everything, he has no complex. As a newly elected leader he's doing well. With more experience, I see him as even a greater leader.
