Mo has Africacentric views, Tim Eurocentric, thats a given fact. It also affects how Mo is wrong about some things that has happened in EU, for example of course EU will take care of EU people first, just like African would take care of African first. Also Greece financial crisis wasn't immidiately sorted out, many EU countries had to give financial aid to Greece, and multiple times and it took years, think my country gave Greece financial aid 2 times, the money didn't just pop into existence. Greece got also quite a bit criticism from this and they also had huge internal crisis because of this. Thankfully Greece sorted this out with the aid as far as I am aware.
But again Greece is in EU and its part of EU internal politics, African continent is part of EU foreign politics. It's same as if say Ethiopia is in financial crisis and rest of African Union came to its aid.

There is more distastes and rotten geo-politicals perspectives about the westerns world, their euro-centrics, their medias and governance. All their nuance is hidden under capitalism and entitlement to dominate , colonised (in many disguises), and hawkish interventions.
The political adage for Africans to debunk the socio philosophy of euro-centric minds. Africa would requires a revolution to remove the illegitimacy of euro centrism, and begin a new dawn of African perspectives.

@MariaNI-yf1bz What he said is correct. Show me the African country that the USA is treating as equals? I will add to his list, Arabs.
Biden said he will make Saudi a pariah state. This comming from a guy that voted in favor of the war in Iraq when he was a Senator, now he wants to preach to others. I don't see anybody in the USA or the West confronting him about his obvious hypocricy. How can the Democrats even allow such a guy to run for president? When are the USA going to show us the weapons of mass destruction or pay reparations for the killing of Iraqis and destruction of their country? Will the West ever have that conversation? Was there any discussion of possibly charging Bush and Blair with War Crimes?
The worst is when gas prices exploded in Bidens USA thanks to his anti energy stance he ran back to Saudi begging the very nation he threatened. The arrogance of Biden and the USA is beyond believe or comprehension.
During Covid-19, Biden put a travel ban on the Southern African region because South Africa identified Omicron. The whole world followed his lead. Two weeks later the UK had ten times the daily infections of Omicron that Southern Africa states had. Guess what, no travel ban was placed on the white UK but Biden kept the travel ban on Southern African nations.
Russians, Chinese , Africans and Arabs are not treated the same as others by the US. I am I white man living in Africa I know exactly how the US treats Africans.

It has been an elitist profession but it has become the most dishonest profession of all aside from the professions of politicians and lawyers. It is about time to highlight your double standards as well. You want companies to share with you intellectual property, which someone had to work their butt off to develop those vaccines, yet you don't share natural resources that just happened to drop inside your borders. There are a bunch of countries in the middle east and Africa whose economies rely on exporting natural resources like oil and gas. We're paying them for something they didn't make, yet you think you have the right to demand something someone had to work very hard for. The northern economies make a living out of innovation, and you do not have the right to take the fruits of their work away from them, because that is all they have left. And if you do so, there is no point in doing research if they're not going to benefit from it. If they benefit from it the exact same way as you do, then there is no point in working if they can just ask others to give a part of their own.

Tim Sebastion ? He's a poor excuse of a Journalist. Spent years reporting around the world and never once challenged the powerful or the elite in his time there. But still can't figure out why there is so much chaos in a continent strip-mined from all of its resources and owned by foreign nationals, has its boarders drawn by Europeans, and has its economic policies dictated by IMF. He's not a Journalist, he's a press secretary.

Having alternatives affects power dynamics by increasing the power of the party with the alternatives. This is because the party with the alternatives has more options and is therefore less dependent on the other party. This can lead to the party with the alternatives being able to negotiate from a stronger position and get a better deal.
Having alternatives can be a powerful tool for increasing your power in any situation. If you are aware of the power dynamics at play, you can use your advantage.
Therefore, having alternatives to the west is good for Africa.
