甘党, I liked alcool and spicy foods a lot but my body now claim otherwise... Those choco-chip from Bokksu would have been even better if they were a bit more salty :D
Do you face any stigma for your alchol allergy? I know social drinkung is big in Japan. Are most Japanese ok if you refuse drinking due to an allergy? I do not want to offend anyone but as you said. Drinking alcohol is nit good for me. Haha!

I'm Finnish and also have a sweet tooth. But here there's a particular candy that's popular with locals that foreigners don't like. It's also salty sweet. Aside from that we also have chocolate covered potato chips that this video really made me want to eat 😄

Honestly, I can't imagine why and how people may not like some types of food (except for those who have allergies). I've tried lots of dishes from different cuisines and there is something to enjoy in every one of this multitude of flavours. Never in my whole life have I tasted a food that I could hate, the only kind of food I dislike is (obviously) spoiled food.
Maybe I'm just lucky? Anyways, great video, as always!

I inveted あまじょっぱい when I was 3 yo. Chips and Nutella, french fries and gelato, bresaola and Nutella basically, everything is better with Nutella).

I like super spicy foods. My nickname is GhostChillyPeppa. The Ghost Chile pepper is one of the world’s hottest peppers not too far behind the Carolina Reaper pepper which is the hottest pepper in the world. I like sweets. I don’t drink alcohol too much. I prefer セボリ to sweet food but will try chocolate and crisps soon , here in the UK a lot of people enjoy spicy food .

I am from Serbia, here people like many diferent foods, but spicy food have special place, i like spicy food myself, we have here in balkans special red peper jam called ajvar, and we often like it spicy, also we have some salads and sauces that can be spicy such as urnebes salad (cream cheese, red spicy pepper and you mix it and it's good with barbeque), but i also like sweets, i have sweet tooth, i even make from time to time some good sweets, even worked in sweets making factory, i only don't like bitter food too much but in general i don't chose foods, i eat what i have :)

I recently spoke to my Japanese friend about this topic. They said, " if you like SWEETS, you don't like spicy food. :O and vice versa. So, if you like spicy food, you don't like sweets"

In America, it makes no difference sweet or spicy. Most people I know in America love both sweet food & spicy food 😋 including myself!💕

I love food that is a little spicy. But being half German and Indian I should definitely endure spicier food😂😂. I feel like Germans don’t usually eat that spicy but rather salty. But this depends on the Region your going to. For example in the part of Germany were I’m from there is a dish consisting of lenses, wiener sausage and a type of noodles called „Spätzle“. This is a really common dish in south west Germany. But many Germans also like Japanese food. I absolutely love sushi and karaage😍😍.

There is no such thing as "mild" spicy food in Thailand.
I have no choice but to like it. If she cooks me a very spicy meal, I can't say "no" to her, or I'm sleeping outside XD
about flavour, I am from central Italy and spicy food is most cooked and liked in the south, milder flavours in my area and north but I like also food which is a little bit spicy for example I quite like Mexican food.About food temperature I am instead a nekojita...:-)))

I hope that was alright! I’m still very new to Japanese, but your videos really help. How would you describe a refreshingly sweet food? Such as a lightly flavored lolly or the flavored gelatin packs at convenience stores? (I do not know what the jelly-like packs are, but I used to have them all the time as a kid)
Here where I live, spicy food is very popular. I was getting pick up dinner with my dad and my dad says, “Could we have the red sauce? (it’s the VERY spicy one) My son likes spicy food.” The gentleman preparing our food replies, “Oh he does?” And laughs in a evil scientist laugh. It was very funny.
