Finally I found one small problem, at 3:45 you wrote “I quit my job cold turkey”. That doesn’t work, cold turkey can only be used for addictions such as cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, and maybe crisps and dating apps.

Everyone knows your English is at a native speaker level. Cold turkey isn't meaning to "stop something suddenly" but rather an expression that comes from making someone else getting off drugs by locking the person in a room and not letting that person out until he feels no need anymore for drugs. It's a hard time to go through for someone addicted to drugs like cocaine for example. The hardest part for the person locking the addict into a room, often parents, is to resist the feeling of mercy and releasing the person to early out of the room while at same time managing to give the person food to survive while he got to stay in the room. You basically put that person on ice like a turkey you put in a fridge. However nowadays with advanced knowledge, nobody does cold turkey anymore, especially in anti drug rehabs for example, rather then slowly taking them of drugs, beside you can get arrested and jailed if you put a person in room against his will, even if he's addicted to drugs.

In the very little time that I have been learning Japanese, i've noticed that certain words are different based on the speaker's gender (watashi vs boku) My question is will learning from her videos be a good idea if I'm a man and don't want to sound like lollita. I haven't watched that many of her videos yet so maybe she has already gone over this already, sorry if thats the case.

Maybe you're misunderstanding the usage of this phrase. People only say "I quit cold turkey" when referring to stopping smoking cigarettes. It means that you decided to just quit smoking one day through sheer force of will, as opposed to using a method like a nicotine patch. There is somewhat of a chance that someone would say it about quitting some other kind of drug. People don't use it in a non drug context such as "I quit my job cold turkey." If someone says that then they're a weirdo. I've never heard it.

The difference is that you can use ダメ男 only for men, whereas ろくでなし is used both for men and women.
