    I tried to grow celery one year from seedlings. It looked beautiful and green (although skinny stalks) but ended up being very, very bitter. What would have caused that?

    Hi, thanks for the video.
    What volume of bucket did you use for growing the celery?

    • @hydroponicsbybrianbullock2488
      @hydroponicsbybrianbullock2488  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      G’day , it’s a 15 litre bucket so that’s about 3.9 gallons.

      Thank you.
      Can you please tell what the celery weight was after harvest? Thanks again.

      @@DinDinBarEl I didn’t weigh the celery, we ate it pieces by pieces as we needed it.

    Did you start these from seed? I'm very interested in knowing how you make your fertilizer. Thanks for the video, your plants look fantastic.

      Thank you, no I bought seedlings from the nursery and planted them out. I do start some plants from seed, just not these. I employed a scientist to design the fertiliser recipe. It’s beyond my skill set. Complex maths, although simple for a chemist or scientist.

      @@hydroponicsbybrianbullock2488 Thanks for getting back to me. I'm trying it right now. I LOVE celery

      @@barharborcandleco5757 no problem, you’re welcome. Celery is very much suited to a passive hydroponic system, it’s a real swamp monster, and a great long term pick and repeat crop. Try and keep it out of rain and keep topping up with nutrients as I’ve shown. Happy growing there.

    What size net cups do you use for the celery?

    Your setup is dope you could also easily modify your buckets to have gravity feed auto fill sewerponics technique for 10 bucks and some uniseal fittings check out my design you may like it
