You can also dry it and grind it into powder for sprinkling on food.
People would be surprised how much goes into one small jar of Pesto. No joke. I have a lot of it on my windowsill(in soil). This might be the year I try hydroponics. If I do it's only cause you gave me the confidence.
My son cut slits in a 55 gallon barrel, heated the holes with a heat gun and used 2 garden trowels to flare the holes out making pockets. This makes for a great basil and strawberry tower. 10 dollors for the food grade barrel is all we paid. He used an angke grinder to cut the horizontal slits.

Mmm. I grow ludicrous amounts of basil, too. I just made steamed sablefish with lemon and handfuls of chopped basil. Delicious!

I mixed up the master blend and cal nitrogen and Epsom salt in a gal and its still some that didnt desolve its that normal its been 24 hours i didnt use b cuz i wasnt sure if thats normal
