It's SO much fun to sit on my porch, well concealed by TREES! Remember them, playing THE FUGS, having naysayers stop, look, listen- sadly, in disgust!!!! ( how can their music be more offensive than much Rap?!) trying to ascertain where THAT FILTH!!! is floating from....Long Live The Fugs And Their Sentiments in The Ethereal Nirvana of Whatever! Namaste from Hicksville PEACE
Wonderful tune. I was a teen when this came out, and Fugs were something we might talk about with trusted friends, but a tad controversial, to say the least
East Coast Mother's on Steroids...saw em in '67 Santa Monica Civic. They were traveling with Alan Ginsburg...if I can figure it out I'll post the concert handbill! 😂
got the flu right now. thats what brought me here again. i LOVE this song. I am feeling better and I actually was able to eat a small meal w/o getting sick so the song worked.ITS A MIRACLE CURE. TY Tuli.
Just goes to show it's all been done before. Well, musically anywhos- pretty sure GG is the only crazed, poop flingin', blood drawin' microdicked junkie in Rock n' Roll history. Can't imagine they'll ever be another, either.
He definitely had heard the Fugs, they were the first cult/underground band, anyone who was anyone knew about them, G.G Allin was also a big fan of David Peel who was a Fugs fan and worked with G.G , it seems like the Fugs have been relegated to a footnote nowadays, when they were so influential and important in their heyday, no other band was as offensive and vulgar as them and swearing on records as blatantly as they were in the '60s! It got so out of hand that the FBI placed them on a watchlist. And people call the Velvet Underground vulgar.
my cat brings in dead animals when I play this.
lol

I told my wife " I feel like home made shit" when I was coming out of general anesthesia, the worst hang over ever!
Saw them at Fillmore East. Played “Saran Wrap”. Put that one on You tube!! Tim Buckley was on the bill also! Good times.
It’s there lol

I haven't heard that song in over fifty years. I'm pretty sure Bob Fass (RIP, old friend) played it on the air one night.

The original!
This nice live version is not from the vinyl album that is pictured. (I still have my copy.)
This version is the full orchestral strength version from Golden Filth.
I think this was also done by the Kweskin Jug Band.. gotta go look..

Nice, your video.
Don't sound like the original vynal record!
I bet GG Allin would have loved this! I am surprised he was not in this band.
